This place is so bi-polar it's ridiculous

This team is bi-polar. We are merely an extension of that.

the saints have drew brees. If our medical staff was competent years ago, Id be much more confident about this season. What you can't deny is that Tannehill has accuracy issues that haven't resolved. He needs near perfection around him to be viable.

Yea his accuracy hasn't been great but what about all the drops so far this year...all the ones bashing tannehills accuracy tend to forget about all the drops...

We knew all along buffalo is a tough matchup. They play us tough every year.

That's the problem right there. Most of these people who are jumping ship were the same ones who were predicting a fin's blow out. They just see Buffalo as a bad team who we should dominate instead of the scary tough matchup the are.

We're tired of 7-9, 8-8 but it looks like that's who the Dolphins are forevermore.

I know everyone already knows how finheaven rolls, especially after a loss but all week long you got people acting like we're making the playoffs and now after week 2 the seasons over..let's start a head coach search thread, lets trade this guy, fire that guy..etc.

Yea today's game was rough, it was hard to watch. We didn't play good in all three phases. We were down 9-3 when spiller returned that kick. Our offense couldn't move the ball, our defense couldn't come up with big stops in the second half, special teams allowed a blocked punt, a td and fumbled one away. Philbin threw in the towel before halftime.

Yea I get it, it was bad...emotions were high after the big win last week and today was a letdown. There's still 14 games left. I'm not ready to throw in the towel.

But the thing that gets me about this site is the week to week knee jerk reactions. We beat the patriots last week and everyone on finheaven was pumped, talking playoffs...talking about how great lazor is and how we scored 30 in the first game. Talked about how much heart and emotion the team played with. ALOT of people said the team had a different feel about them.

Now after week 2 we suck, the seasons over. Typical finheaven.

And I'm not saying people don't have a right to be pissed because this game was bad and I'm pissed too but I'm not gonna write the team off after one loss to a tough division rival with a bunch of playmakers. Even when the bills sucked they played us hard. All week long people were talking about how good buffalo d line is,but once the game started and Tannehill got sacked you guys acted surprised.

Worst ****ing post I've ever seen.

Except you're probably right.

Or wrong, maybe.

It is funny to see the same ppl that praise Philbin last week call him a failure this week!

I agree 100%. It's sad to see some of the reactions sometimes. But if we do make the playoffs, you will see those people quickly turn around and say They knew we were a playoff team since training camp started!

Until Miami loses in the playoffs and then everyone will suck and stink again.

It doesn't take long to figure out what you're going to get on game day at Ventheaven so I figure you have three options: 1. learn to deal with it / 2.try to find the humor in it. / 3. Stay clear of the site on game day.

Bad game all around though. QB, coaches, defense, special teams....all failed us today. Gotta do better starting next week.

Some of us have been pretty consistent --- which is what drives us nuts about a HC and a QB who aren't.

We can feel our HC and our QB aren't good enough and also feel drops are unacceptable. Those issues aren't mutually exclusive.

Here's an example: Philbin is an administrator, not a HC. Tannehill is average at best. Miller is less than average. Croyle's shine, for me, has worn off. Wheeler, and Ellerbee can go pound sand. And our WR's need to catch the few balls that are delivered accurately for us to have a shot at winning games.

I understand the team has has drops. It all starts with the qb though. I remember i believe it was rich gannon talking about qb's who had what was termed a wr friendly ball. It had something to do with the ball rotation. I don't profess to be a qb guru like some on here but i do believe in ball placement. Tannehill has always had major ball placement issues on routes that are basic. He seems to struggle with placement on crossing routes' deep fly routes and throws to players in the flat. You can't teach those things unless it's footwork. In year 3 he should have those basic routes down amd rapport with Wallace. I will support Tannehill as a dolphins player but I officially got off the bus today.

Look, I know there are people who stick to their guns , on certain topics but the majority of people here flip flop week to week. Last week we were playoff bound this week our seasons over.

Also it's quite humorous how many more posts by usually unseen posters there are after a loss than a big win over the pats.

But like I said all along everyone has every right to feel how they want to, I'm just merely making an observation.

I certainly wasn't one of those people predicting a blowout win, but I was hoping we wouldn't get our ass handed to us AGAIN. Let's not kid ourselves here, Buffalo is not a good team, so if losing badly to an average team is our bar for acceptability, then we can go ahead and pencil in another 7-8 win season. Not acceptable for me, but about what I expected with our HC, QB to go along other significant holes.

How's it the worst post ever? People don't act like that on finheaven? I'm not telling anyone to feel one way or another but you can't say what I said is untrue...
