The Tannehill era is on it's last legs folks. We all know it and Barry makes the case. Right or wrong, good or bad, it's about winning and RT has not been able to do that. I've been a big supporter, but honestly he has not earned franchise money next year. I would say without any doubt in my mind, that tomorrow is a MUST win for him. Not only must he play well, and avoid all the stupid mistakes and turnovers, but he must lead his team to a win. The schedule is certainly not in his favor even if he wins tomorrow, but the writing is on the wall. I foresee the media, the fans and the FO turning on him in a big way. Tough kid but in pro sports its all about the W.

The team needs to be blown up and rebuilt for real. People say we've been rebuilding since Marino left but that's not true. We legitimately rebuilt the team when we went 1-15 with Parcells. But they failed. Since then the FO has ran the team like they are in win now mode with trading up for players, signing big FAs, ect.

The team needs to be blown up, Tannebaum needs to be fired, and Gase needs to be allowed to build his own team.

Although if the team is picking in the top 3, nobody is safe.

I have it on good authority that the reason we can't draft well is because of a lack of continuity and we just needed to give Jeff Ireland a few more years.

Barry gets his info straight from the pr staff. That's why he has so much insider info. And he repeats whatever they tell him to say.

If he's starting to talk down on tannehill that tells you the team is setting it up so they can move on from him.

I've always believed Gase made it a issue to make sure he talked Tannehilll up, and to make sure he let everyone know he was giving tannehill everything he could to help him be successful.

This IMO is a sign the staff feels they may have to move on, and they want to soften the blow for tannehill fans who still believe.

The team I already set to be blown up. This was always the plan. It's not a coincidence we have so many players we can walk away from after this season. This was a stop gap roster that was either going to win with tannehill, or lose.

That was always how this team was set up.

I agree but Tannenbaum is still here.

It's pretty bad when fans at home are yelling out better players to draft on tv. I remember in 2010 I wanted miami to take Earl Thomas @ 12. But noooooo Miami had to trade down for odrick and freaking Misi. Miami secondary right now could have been Earl Thomas, Reshad Jones, Vontae Davis (team gave up on him too early) and Sean Smith. 100% better than the crap Miami has now. 2012 I wanted Kuechly...but Miami saw a can't miss once in a generation franchise prodigy QB in Tannehill instead. Then Miami trades UP in one of the worst drafts ever and take bust dion Jordan in 2013.

Then James. Everyone on here knew that guy could have been had in the 2nd probably 3rd round as well. Don't get me started on the caroo trade. Miami FO makes the draft way harder than it needs to be.

While there's no defending the way Tannehill has played, there's no need to make it look worst than it already is... Barry states that Tannehill is 25th in passer rating with 87.3, this is not true as that puts him at 20. He then goes on to say he's on pace for 20 INTs, you just cant do that especially after 4 games which include 3 on the road against playoff teams who have top 5 rated defenses... I mean stop piling on ffs...

I believe what you are saying is true. If it were Armando, not so much. As much as RT has been blamed for the team's woes, Gase has come in from the start with unconditional support. I think every qb should get that from his head coach, but Gase knows what RT is more than anyone and he also knows that his success as a coach it tied to him. Perhaps this ridiculous schedule is all he will need to jump ship on RT. He is what he is--a very average QB who cannot carry this team. Follow the money--he will not get franchise money which means he will not be with the Miami Dolphins next year.

Regardless of the team as a whole....I agree Tannehill needs to prove on this homestand that he is the guy.....period.

Having deja vu...
Just insert "Henne" or "Chad" any time you read "RT" "TannEhill" or "Ryan" and it feels like you are back in the nightmare that was...
