“C.P., C.P., I’m going to brag for ya, ‘cause you won’t do it,’ ” Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter yelled as Pennington walked through the tiny visitors locker room at Giants Stadium. Porter then looked at reporters and continued to gloat on his quarterback.
“He’s right there, running from the cameras right now. Right over there. He’s the [Most Valuable Player],” said Porter, who finished with a career-high 17½ sacks this season. “He won’t tell ya, but I will. Chad is the MVP. If you don’t believe it, all you got to do is turn on the film. All he does is throw touchdowns and no interceptions.”

What a class act by Pennington, giving his teammates the best example on how a proffesional should act.

There are the Pacman's of the league and there are the Pennington's.

I'm glad we have a Pennington.

Nice find man, thanks!

Man I love me some Peezy , please throw your kitchen sink at Flacco this sunday please Peezy :woot:

Love this quote by Jerricho Cotchery on whether he would like to see Brett Favre come back next year:

"I would love to see him back next year," receiver Jerricho Cotchery said after Sunday's game. "You don't learn the ins and outs of this offense in a couple of months so I would love to see him come back and get the chance to learn the [offense] ... and get an offseason of [preparation] in so we can turn some things around."

Chad didn't seem to have any problems!

Very good point.

I'm glad the gamble of getting a Pennington jersey is paying off. this guy exemplifies everything a pro athete should be. He works hard, he's humble, and he's a leader. I'd love to see him win MVP but it probably won't happen. Regardless, he's OUR MVP and that's all that matters.

Although he's a 3 year starter with us best case scenario, I thought of getting a Pennington jersey. I love the guy. He's great and LOVE supporting him. He's the man and true heart and leader of this team. If it wasn't for him, no 11-5 or AFC East title.

Gotta love Porter for this. Just look at the respec Pennington gets.

I hate to say this, but replace Porter with Jason Taylor. Does anyone honestly believe Talor would have acted the same was as Porter and said the same things?

Whether you like him or not Porter is a true leader.

So is Pennington

Pennington shows you how to act like a professional and let's his performance do his talking.

Porter is a vocal leader, who on numerous occasions, made HUGE plays for us for the first 14 games or so.

The best part of yesterdays game was seeing Pennington on the sidelines when we're up by 7 with like 4 minutes left. You just saw him getting in the offenses faces basically telling them "It's not over, we need to finish this"

Pennington is the epitomy of don't look ahead. Let's finish what we started today.

I am not sure if I expect Pennington to be as succesful next year. But Pennington did more then just lead a 1-15 team to 11-5. He for all intents and purposes saved the Miami Dolphins and the Fan base. He helped put the Phins back on the map. He made fans realize they should start going to the games again

Even if he turns in a horrible season next year he was the best thing to ever happen to this team since Dan Marino. Parcells is a very close 2nd.

When Chad lines up behind Center this week, the fans at Dolphin's Stadium should start the M-V-P chant. Maybe then he will get some more recognition.
