I must say this year more than any other year (including our horrible 4-12 season) has been so hard to keep cheering. At no point in the season did I feel like thing might pick up. And as far as Saban goes I say F him. He can go and do what he wants in college with young boys. jk. Regeardless he was not a good NFL head coach so be it. He would probably be best suited as a Def. Coo. That is why he is so successful in college. In the NCAA you can win a Championship with a below average offense and a GREAT defense (make the other guy lose the game for you). That simply doesnt work in the NFL. Outside of that there is now the QB problem. What to do with C-Pep? O-line? Coaching Staff? WR? Aging Defense? After each season I would be excited to go into the postseason with hopes of ripping it up the following year. Right now I think we will be lucky to go third in our division next year. And seems like a long shot. It will be another long season next year with a 8 - 8 record at best. Oh and just wanna add that I am very happy we lost to Indy. It sent Saban packing a losing coach

Do you think this entire situation would have been different if we got Brees instead of C-pep?

Call me crazy, but I think it would. Brees wouldn't have put up the same numbers, but we would be in the playoffs right now...

If Miami signed Brees I believe Miami would be in the playoffs but looking back won't do anything for us.

well we can say that the offseason will be interesting to say the least. New Coach, new scheme, over 70% of the team are FA. This team next year has the chance to look VERY different.

ps- must change my mock now.

there are so many things that need fixing in this organization, but at least the Dolphins have one of the classiest, if not the best, owners in the entire league. Saban was a cancer on this team as much as TO is on the Dallas team. You are lucky he is gone.

This season was definitely horrible to watch and live through. It was so bad, that this is the 1st time since October that I could even deal with coming to this site (was feeling dejected enough). Who knows what next season will bring. A coach is important, but solid players are needed too. A team can surprise a so-so coach with outstanding effort and exicution and get them to the playoffs. I hope our team can recover quickly. Honestly, before the 4-12 season, the players were able to keep us above .500, even with Wanny as the coach. So there is still hope. Just hard to accept that at this moment.
