This season is starting to feel like 2 years ago...

1,2,3.....Bash me!!!! Ok really. Do you remember in our 1-15 season how every week if felt like we were almost gonna win just to have our hearts ripped out? Most of the games were pretty close but we just couldnt get it done. Well this year with the tough schedule I'm starting to feel like that again. I cant just get in here and say, Woo Hoo were gonna beat the Chargers cuz, I have no clue. And with the giants they got on offense it dont look good. And I live in San Diego.
 
The difference is two years ago most of us knew we would suck. I don't think we suck, but we are not elite. I do think we can win any of our games. I don't look at the schedule like I did in 2007 and think that was an automatic loss.

What will our record be? Not sure yet, but 6-10 to 10-6 is a range I can see. We will know for sure by our bye week.
 
It is true that we have managed to lose in too terrible ways. Week 1 we just looked terrible and then Week 2 we looked great before imploding at the end.
 
Nay I disagree. It's a really crappy let down but at least theres hope for the future. The 1-15 year I didn't see the light.
 
The difference is "COULD" vs. "SHOULD" Two years ago we COULD have won a couple of games early (Washington), but Monday we SHOULD have won a game we dominated.

I don't see us continuing this...we are playing good football in different phases of the game...we just got to get it all together at the same time...
 
in the 1-15 year, you could tell almost immediately that Cam Cameron was the wrong choice... it was the way he conducted himself that made me fear of impending disaster!!! he was full of himself... thinking he would outsmart the other GM's and Coaches... he was in over his head!!! and now back as an OC he is up to his old tricks of running a fantastic offense!!! my point is; these last 2 loses have come on the heels of bad tackling and poor clock management ... at least you can see the talent on the 2009 version as opposed to the 2007 version ... also this regime has a clue, whereas the 2007 regime was clueless!!! but, right now Miami is 0-2 and facing some really tough games... it might not be pretty, but, i feel in the future it will be all roses!!!
 
we are 2 years removed from 1-15..the culture is not completely changed yet. Guys get the idea but execution and you have to play damn near perfect to win...Either play damn near perfect or make the plays that really count..I think we have some playmakers but no game changers..
 
A little bit. This season i kind of figured which a schedule this difficult we had very little chance of winning 8-9 games.
 
yeah but at least we got a qb, unlike 2 years ago

No, not even close. In 2007 you could feel like the team had no chance, because we were losing talented players left and right, our HC had no emotion, and kept giving the empression that he didn't know what to do next.

Miami should have won against the Colts, the Colts did not outplay Miami, they did not have a better plan then Miami, instead Miami had more then 3 minutes on the clock, and blew it w/ time management problems, something that I can guarantee will not happen again. With this team you get a feeling, that once they put it all together (and they will with this coaching staff), teams will have trouble scoring when Miami is on defense, and trouble getting them off the field when Miami is on offense....never got that feeling in 07.
