Lazor to Head Coach. Calls the offence. Then fire Philbin and Coyle. Then call up Jim Schwartz for DC...and Schwartz knows D as well as how to use Suh... This is the best I can come up with. It's a quick fix. Philbin has to go if the Jets embarrasses us. Thoughts?

I guess you enjoy 15 ppg and believe Schwartz can keep opponents under 15 ppg every game with this roster.
Seems reasonable!
 
I tell you...I think Cam Cameron's Dolphins team could probably beat this current Dolphins team. This current Dolphins defense would probably make Cleo Lemon look like a pro bowler.
 
Still better then Philbin. I'm not so happy on Lazor play calls but he should have a shot. See what he can do as Head Coach. Joe Philbin is like having no one there anyway. Jim Schwartz is a huge upgrade. Coyle is aweful. We rank 30 in defense.
 
Why does Lazor get a pass? He's horrible!

1st and goal on the 2 yd line and we pass 4 straight times? Im sorry.
 
Sure, why not. Season's toast anyway. It's an indictment on the complete lack of coaching talent on this team that there are no viable interim options. Lazor sure as hell hasnt earned it.

Then simply replacing Coyle will accomplish the same thing.

Lazor will get through the players better than Joe Philbin. Joe Philbin has no fire. No passion. It's like a dead man walkin on the sidelines. Not saying Lazor is the future. We just can't change offence at this point.

I really believe they were in "practice mode" at that point and just wanted to work on Tannehill throwing the fade etc. and give Parker a chance to show what he can do. Of course that flat out failed, since Tannehill can't keep a damn fade in the field of play apparently...
 
Lazor has done nothing to suggest he even deserves the title of interim head coach.

I do agree with you. But it's to late to change the offence at this point. He least has more fire and energy than Joe Philbin
