Right now we got Ronnie playn QB in the Wildcat, now granted i love Ronnie but he never played QB.
Just imagine for a minute if we had Tim Tebow as our Wilcat QB, the boy can run and throw.
our backfield would be

QB- Tebow
RB- Brown
RB2- Williams
RB3/TE/WR Cobbs
and Line up Pennington as WR about 50% of the time

There would be 2 guys capable of throwing the ball anytime Penny and tebow
and 3 with brown.

that would be fun to watch and hard to defend against, just wanted to throw this topic out for fun :woot:

Absolutely positively not!

If/when Tebow comes out he is a Round 1 pick because hes worth the gamble at QB. We have enough holes to fill. Gambling our pick on a player that would play at most see ~10% of the plays in a formation that is yet to be proven to work is not a smart idea at all.

If you wanted to test this experiment you could pick up any slob spread offense running QB, who will ultimately fail in the NFL.

Fun to watch maybe. A waste of a pick/possible disaster, definately.

Tebow will blow in the NFL. Teams will see Tebow coming out, and already know the Wildcat is coming. Then they can make their subs to stop it. Tebow will not be in a dolphins uniform, and thankfully so.

So we would draft Tim Tebow in the 1st round just for the wildcat formation.
He would make more money than Ernest Wilford and only be on the field for the wildcat. Hmmmm

Agreed. I'd rather have Pat White over Tebow. But thankfully Parcells is running the show and he won't waste a pick on any of the 2.

Tebow WILL BLOW IN THE NFL. He runs a 4.71 40 and can't deliver the ball in tight spaces. Perennial Bust.

WASTE a pick on Pat White?!!? You gotta be kidding me I'd take Pat White in a heart beat rediculous athlete, incredible speed, outstanding citizen. Pat White in Round 2 as a WR/KR/PR/Wildcat QB

imo. 4th round and nothing sooner.

First off, I'm no Florida fan so I have no bias for or against them. I used to feel like you about Tebow but I think he might turn out to be a solid NFL QB with another year at college to help him improve. He's just a winner and he can throw the ball.

Not even a 4th. 7th maybe.

I actually think it will be closer to the 4th than 7th. Michael Robinson (QB-PSU) was taken in the 4th round #100 overall as a RB. Eric Crouch (QB-Neb) was taken in the 3rd round 95 overall as a WR. Robinson or Crouch did not have near the athletic ability in which White shows.

I'm not saying taking White would be a good pick in the fourth (I think he should be ~6-UDFA because he has never played the postion he will play in the NFL. Really neither of these previous picks really panned out. Robinson better then Crouch obviously. I still do not think that stops someone from rolling the dice on White around the late 3rd-5th.
