Aiight, I know this sounds crazy and maybe most of you probably dont give a damn. First off my bad for starting ANOTHER ricky thread, but just thought Id say this. A couple weeks ago I had a dream that Ricky was traded to the Cardinals after making a comeback. Now I just want to know what everybody thinks the possibility is of this happening or Ricky being traded at all???

don't know if he realizes the media attention(negative) that will come with Ricky.
Saban said " he has value to this organization" maybe it is trade value and we will get him in uniform....sit out four games and play out the year....then trade him for a pick .......but the value there should only be a second rounder seing Edge and Alexander aren't gaining much attention as a guideline....and Ricky with his checkered past ......a 2nd would be the highest value.

So I ask if all this with Ricky is worth a second rounder.......we'll see...

If we do trade him, I hope it isn't isn't the first year because as of now he basically has no trading value. I don't want to trade Ricky for like a 5th, 6th, or 7th round draft pick. We shouldn't trade him until his value sky rockets (and that would be after a productive season) which will show everyone if he can get his act together, he can still be an AMAZINGLY talented productive RB.

nope, id rather trade his *** for a 5th round then having to deal with him for a year

If anybody offers anything you gotta take it. Even with a productive season, Ricky is one questionable decision, one failed drug test, or on stupid statement from being a player nobody would take under any circumstances. If we can get a high pick then great, but if not then we have to take whatever we can get. Then we can sit back an laugh at the other team when Ricky blows up on them.

It's not an issue of talent, its his unpredictability. He even said in an interview that he had 4000 more yds to give to an organization. That's about 3 seasons. Who is going to give up a high rd pick on such a short term investment.
Perhaps a team that feels it is one or two players away would consider a 5th-7th rounder.

Maybe. If arizona really wanted a running back there is better out there than ricky like Edge and Alexander and Henry. Only reason they didnt get henry was because buffalo wouldnt budge on switching spots in the 2nd. The eagles, i dont know. They are a possibiliity but a lesser one in my opinion

Wow Some Of You Guys Dont Know Anything About Second Chances Do You , I Dont Know Why That Is, I Grew Up Around Alot People That Make Mistakes And You Know What They Change Theres Alot Of Things Worse That Quiting Football, You Know. But My Point Is, The Guy Is Human, He Will Be Ricky Williams No Matter What Anyone Says, If He Comes Back Guess What Hes On Our Side And Im Rooting For Him Or Anyone That Wears The Uniform... Second Chance Common You Rather Have Them Go 7-9 Last Year And The Other Coach Still Here???/ I Dont Know Bout You But Im Glad Its 2005 And The Saban Era....
