We complain when the national media doesn't recognize us. As soon as this team gets some love we wet the bed. Never fails. We are cursed.
Thats a long damn time. I don't want to be in a freaking wheel chair by the time we make the conference championshipNot cursed. Just haven’t been good enough for 50 years.
Two playoff berths since then. And we had teams with a lot more talent spread around than what we've got now.Well we haven't been 6 and 3 since 2001 just sayin
This is valid. We need more offense period. We got the “unsustainable” turnovers today. The offense was just so bad we couldn’t win regardless. This wasn’t the defenses best showing either but 20 points should never be insurmountable and you have to sustain a little offense to give those guys some rest. That 3 and out fest was a recipe for disaster.People wondered why some of us were worried about how we'd perform despite being 6 and 3. Well after watching it be a Dolphin pattern you kind of expect it.
I wasn't going to be comfortable heading into the last four games even if we swept all the bottom feeders populating our schedule till then. Now we lost to a weak team im definitely concerned even if we beat the Jets and Cincinnati to get to 8 and 4.
We're 6 and 4 now and season isn't over. But the offense has been nonexistent two if the last 4 weeks and as it stands now some good teams will be left out of the playoffs in the AFC...not even including us in that equation.
Well things were looking up but nobody ready expected playoffs this year anyway. We’ll just have to watch and see what happens. Two playoff berths since then. And we had teams with a lot more talent spread around than what we've got now.
Really hurts that basically not a single game went our way aside from New England which was a stretch. The Raiders may still lose to the Chiefs but they are showing even if they do they are a dar better six win team than us. Schedule is pretty unfavorable for us and we're behind much more talented teams.
I really don't know about the audition theory but just after declaring him starter for a season Flores benched Rosen when the offense just didn't get going at all. Tua hasn't brought the turnovers but in practical terms he's already had two games about as ineffective as that Washington game. And we know what disarray the team was at then...Tua took over during a win streak following two dominant defensive performances. But we know Flores just never liked Rosen. Clearly everyone likes Tua.This is valid. We need more offense period. We got the “unsustainable” turnovers today. The offense was just so bad we couldn’t win regardless. I do think Tua was the biggest issue today. He looked nervous from the outset and missed some open guys despite the theory that nobody is getting open. He’s a rookie I hope nobody expected it to be perfect. That would be naive. I hope he improves next week. Honestly you’re right I feel our offense has sucked, other than a couple big drives in Zona, since Tua has come in.
Mando makes a good point. Who’s to say Flo won’t turn to Fitz whenever we need a hurry up drill at the end of games? That’s interesting decision making, kind of a contradiction and makes you wonder if the “audition” theory is closer to the truth than we think.
If the pick happened to be 1 or 2, would you take a QB? The pick won't be at this point but it's an interesting thought. Had New England won today, we'd be at #3. It's not totally unrealistic.I really don't know about the audition theory but just after declaring him starter for a season Flores benched Rosen when the offense just didn't get going at all. You can't think this way, it was one game.We complain when the national media doesn't recognize us. As soon as this team gets some love we wet the bed. Never fails. We are cursed.
I don't like forcing a young qb on general. I like trying to build a good organization. Teams keep wanting to draft a transcendent qb who makes chicken saladIf the pick happened to be 1 or 2, would you take a QB? The pick won't be at this point but it's an interesting thought.
