This this guy Michael Bush might hit free agency...

Not an elite talent. Respectable power back/ change of pace but wore down quickly this year not soon after "run dmc" went down. He would command more $ then he is worth. Are we really giving up on rookie daniel thomas after one year with no offseason? Thomas has been a rb for what? 3 years total? And we just got messum on the cheap from the cfl too. Sorry but michael bush is a bad fit imo, too pricey, and just downright not needed. Also slaton has some upside as well. We could draft someone cheaper.. Theres just better value out there as a backup ya dig?

Considering Daniel Thomas only makes 3.8 million over 4 years, that's not really a burden on the team. Gives him time to learn considering he has only been a RB for 3 years. Michael Bush is a beast!!! Steve Slaton was a product of the Texans run offense don't get all excited.

slaton was pretty exciting at WV too... hes a quality #3 for us, and with messum now, slaton looks to be our #4. i just dont see what you see in michael bush, hes a dime a doze power back. for the money he wants to command i just dont see it as a fit, nor do i think hes some elite talent. the only "beasts" at RB over there in oakland are darren mcfadden and FB marcell reese. taiwan jones looks pretty promising too.

I actually think we're pretty stacked at RB. Bush would cost way to much anyway. I think the addition of Jerome Messam was awesome. I've been watching some film on him and hes a beast. Here are some highlights from a game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2ZAINcO580. He's got some moves too. Check out from 1:50 on. Makes a big play at 2:40. In think we need to focus on defense more in free agency.
