This time next year poll regarding McDaniel

I happen to think that McDaniel is the biggest boom/bust coach we've hired. I don't see this team being mediocre under him.
I'm slowly warming up to him and his style and my excitement level is approaching fever pitch. What do you guys think?

I voted "can't call him top tier but on the ascent and getting noticed". I don't see SB in his first year, but can definitely see our first playoff win in forever! I am getting super excited as well, but trying to temper it a little and keep my expectations realistic.

Ok ill play. I picked wildly exceeded expectations but I personally leave the Sean mcvay stuff out. We don't need a Sean mcvay, we need a Mike McDaniel to exceed expectations

Edit: I think he will surprise people with his game management. I actually think he won't go through any MAJOR growing pains in game management. I feel like he has a good handle on what he needs done. Especially after hearing about how well managed practices were.

I have no idea how to judge McDaniel at this time considering he has never coached a game in the regular season. So right now everyone of the first three options are possible.

I throw out the Cam Cameron possibility because I just can’t ever see another HC being as inept as he was as an NFL head coach.

There were big red flags in the preseason with him. “Fail forward fast”… not coaching a preseason game. Absolute trash.

To date, I get the opposite vibe from MM

I'm going optimistic. Lots of talent on this team. If Miami can stay healthy, I think playoffs is a realistic expectation.

Actually , every HC we've hired before has been a bust
