I cant stand everbody saying (I was pissed yesterday and today everything is great) are you kidding me we passed on a future star quaterback for a 180 pound 5-8 punt returner.Quaterbacks win championships not punt returners.

So all you fans that are happy your just kidding yourselfs just like when we picked Dante over Brees.

I am pissed because year after year we Never have a great draft other than when Jimmy J was around and they still weren't great. Say what you want we are so many years away from winning a championship we will be in last place in afc east for a long time.

Oh and buy the way does anybody know who are starting Quaterback is????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I agree with you to the point of being disappointed for not getting Quinn in the first round, but I'd like to think positive and look at it differently. We will have a really good 2nd wide receiver/punt returner and hopefully Beck will be able to step up soon and get mentored by Green once he gets here.

you guys think brady was the only Qb in this draft that has any shot of being good but we obveisly thought beck was better im going to go with the guys that have studied him the last 6 months and not us who just read a couple draft reports

Everything I've seen points to Beck being a much more accurate passer. I'm not sure Ginn was the best first pick for the Fins, but don't have a problem with Beck. I'm willing to wait and see how well it works out.

I was disappointed as well as I think Ginn is highly over rated. Nothing I can do about it but hope I am wrong and the brass is right.

I do not know why everyone is so high on Brady Quinn if it wasn't for him playing at Notre Dame no one would even care about him. If he played in the SEC for Tennessee or Alabama he wouldn't have been picked untill the 2nd or 3rd round. And by the way Ted Ginn is 6 foot tall.

The only thing that ticks me off is that we didn't trade down in the first round where we could have still easily picked up ginna and an extra 2nd or 3rd rounder.

You think it sucked for you? Imagine this draft (I wanted Quinn), being a Mavericks fan, and losing your grandmother all in the span of less than 48 hours. LOL talk about rough.

All together now!!!! Lets have a pitty party,1 2 3 awwwwwwww

brady quinn will be a bust-mark my words, and besides the point, do u rele think brady quinn is the only future star, i dont think so....

I'm OK with Beck, but not Ginn in the 9 spot. I think we seriously overpaid for this guy as his fortay is as a returner - not a polished WR which is what you should draft in the top 10. As someone in another thread pointed out, he is Dante Hall. Which is great, but it's not who you choose at #9.

Cam now officially scares me a bit. He drafts Ginn way too high and then talks about how he has known he and his family for 10 years. Then we get this disproportiionate number of players from Hawaii and we find out that Cam and June are good buddies. Last time I checked, Hawaii was pretty much a spread offense doing the run and gun thing and they are not very good in the bigger NCAA D1 scope of things.

I can't wait to find out what the Mormon connection is.

Ok... Since you know who Brady Quinn is given Notre Dame's national exposure, and know nothing of John Beck and probably have no idea where Bringham Young is, you think he's better? I'm just having a hard time trying to understand fans, such as yourself, and their displeasure with selecting:

a) a football player who is explosive and an impact player; no matter what the position
b) a QB which many experts, and most important above all else, the Dolphins felt was their QB and the 2nd rated QB on their board 18 picks later

If Quinn was such a can't miss prospect and a franchise QB, he wouldn't have slid. I have no reason not to believe that John Beck can't be everything and anything that Quinn will/could be.

We got a speedy, playmaking WR/return guy, a potential starting QB, good change of pace RB, and a C/G who will probably start for us this year all on the first day. Doesn't sound like a terrible day to me. I don't think it was a great draft but if Ginn and Beck turn out to be as good as Mueller and Cam believe, than we could look back on it as being one of our best.

On the second day, I question how many of those guys will be able to make this team. I like the DT we got but I wonder who we will be cutting to keep him? The LB will probably make the team for special teams play and obviously the punter will have a chance to make the team. But other than them, I see two or three guys that end up being practice squad guys or just being released.
