Punters are people too.

Add another "grownup" to the team.

As good as I felt about the offseason, these kinds of interviews show an extraordinarily high level of maturity among many of our players that I had not anticipated but certainly appreciate.

This preseason is turning out to be even better than I expected, and I expected a lot - LOL

I believe some of Jason Sanders struggles last year were directly related to the holder, shouldn't be an issue with Morestead. He can also serve competently as an emergency kicker if needed, and who can forget that onside kick in the Super Bowl that turned the tide for the Saints? Really a smart signing on many levels.

How does he feel about Mike Westhoff?
I'm actually think Morstead was probably the reason Westhoff was at one of the OTA's. Since it was Westhoff's book publicity tour "look at me, I'm still relevant" and Morstead was listed as one of the top special teams players in the book.

I watched every game Westy coached for us in his entire career, but there's absolutely no reason for him to be an absolute c0ck about offseason practice.
