I was just reading through old PFW articles. This one didn't get much play on the board but it is deserving of some thought.
I think Derrius Thompson is about another subpar game away from losing his number 2 spot.

If the Dolphins are to take another step toward a balanced offense, the passing game will have to step up consistently. In order for them to do that, though, pressure will need to be taken off Chris Chambers, who has started 2003 on fire. Miami believed it had solved the problem of finding a solid No. 2 wideout to complement Chambers in the offseason when it signed Derrius Thompson. But we hear Thompson has really struggled getting separation against cornerbacks, and that problem hasn’t been remedied yet. In fact, James Mc_Knight could very well be gaining on Thompson for the No. 2 spot since Thompson hasn’t done much to run away with it.
