Thompson needs to be QB2 from here on out

We brought in Bridgewater to be a plan B to Tua. Now having him as a "veteran" presence as a luxury is completely unnecessary now that Tua has more than proved to be a QB1. Either make him a QB3 if we're going to be stubborn with him to serve as a Tua mentor or trade/release him

As long as Tua is healthy and the starting QB, I don’t care who the backup is. The Dolphins are only going as far as Tua takes them and neither Bridgewater or Thompson are nearly the QB Tua is.

It's more than 3 plays though. He looked unflattering throughout preseason while even getting 1st team reps. I've seen more than enough

He wasn’t good in preseason, he sucked in Denver, he sucked in Carolina. It’s been years since Bridgewater hasn’t looked like a bum playing QB

I did think it was over when Teddy went in and he didn’t look good. But it was 2 passes. Keep him as the backup but if Tua misses games maybe start skylar

You don't judge a guy on a couple of plays. Teddy is a legit backup and if we ever need him for a stretch, I have full confidence in him and our coaching staff to be up to the task. Thompson is a 7th round rookie who performed quite admirably against other 7th round rookies. He isn't ready yet

Kind of true. Teddy looked terrible. But this is the best defense in the NFL. They make every QB look stupid. Except Tua.

Teddy didn’t seem prepared to play in that game so what’s the purpose of having him QB2? Definitely wouldn’t mind having Skylar QB2.

the problem I see with Teddy is that he seems to bring no spark to the offense....it was like that in pre season and it was like that today even though he was out there for 3 plays today.
