Looks like he has a place he wants to play.....and it isn't Miami.

The Associated Press reports top <A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/159">NFL Draft prospect QB Troy Smith (Ohio State) is pushing hard for this hometown team, the Cleveland Browns, to select him in the 2007 NFL Draft this year. After being named the area's outstanding collegiate athlete at the Greater Cleveland Sports Awards, Smith thanked the city's fans for their support and declared, "Hopefully, I'll get a chance to represent you guys at the next level with the Cleveland Browns," Smith said. Playing for the Browns has been a lifelong dream for the Heisman Trophy winner. "If that were to happen, that would be a dream come true because I could stay in the community and give back." The Browns will have the third or fourth overall draft choice in the first round.

Hopefully they listen to him, that gives Quinn a better chance of slipping to us.

Interesting cuz Quinn is from around there and has said he wants to play in Cleveland as well, so hopefully the Browns will act like.....well......the Browns and take Smith...............
 
Good he isnt the answer to our QB issues. He has talent but just doesnt seem to have that NFL QB type Quality...

If that were the case....I see them taking Kolb....lol. Smith or quinn would be too logical according to that statement...LMAO!!!! :goof: :goof:
 
Smith is just trying to put the thoughts in there head so after he has a good combine he can possibly climb up the rankings and then he is going to have some private sessions there and if he impresses the Browns they might be convinced but I am pretty confident they rather have Quinn considering the Crennel-Weiss relationship and the fact that he is more pro ready and Crennel needs to impress!
