it obviouslt matters what position and players are around when it comes to our selection in the first round.... but i not fond of the o-line for there, and LB's might be gone by then that would be worthy.

what do you think of trading down our first pick to obtain some later picks in the draft (if possible) there are a lot of names that'll be around and good hopefulls in the 3-5 rounds, as well as we got 2 2nd round picks already.... i wouldn't mind this at all.

my #1 pick would be james laurinaitis.
he might be gone so deangelo smith cb/ peria jerry dt.
did think about trading down but no, feeling fine with what we have.

Trading down is a two way street. There has to be someone willing to trade up. If so, I'd like to do that for fair value.

I'd be shocked if Laurinaitis was there too, but i would take him. my second guy i agree with you would be NT- Peria Jerry.... otherwise, i kinda just would like to obtain a couple more picks... trade down, and start in the second round.

yeah, it would have to work out with someone wanting to trade up.... Parcells has always been awesome i nthe drafts with this type of stuff too... he is a master mind basically.

gaining an extra pick later though, could help us actually get a WR or O-Line without thinking, man we should of snagged another defensive player instead.

Peria Jerry has been impressive at the North-South practices and he was a beast on the Ole Miss defense. He played in a 4-3 defense in college. Coming in around 300lbs. is he going to be effective as a 2 gap plugger? He definitely has great quickness for a man of his size.

he definitely has great size and quickness, and uses great leverage... but he has never played in the 3-4 before... thats the questionmarks on him and Raji for any 3-4 schemed defense.... will they be able to develop and thrive in that system???

I would go with Raji the kid looks like a beast if he is available during our pick. If not I liked what I have been seeing from Englishthe kid looks nice.
