Hi my fellow Dolfans its been awile since ive posted a new thread. I have started a family, and started my new life :D. But this is not the reason why I decided to leave my 2 sence on this forum today. I come here today to tell you how visualy disturbed I was when I seen the draft day footage of our fellow Dolfans booing not only the pick of Ted Ginn Jr as well as our new WELL RESPECTED AND SOMEONE WE SHOULD TRUST, because of his many years in the league and as many recruiting successes as coach Cameron has endured in his coaching career. Such as recently as Marcus Mcneil who I had very highly coming out of the University of Auburn. Where he blocked for our own Ronnie Brown as well as Carnell CADILLAC Williams. SABAN DRAFTED WITH ALL DO RESPECT JASON ALLEN. COACH CAMERON AND THE CHARGERS drafted Mcneil. Among others he scouted Vincent Jackson, Michael turner, Phillip Rivers, DREW BREES Etc. :cooldude: If we had them how good could we be next year? Hopefully he can do the same thing with us. HOW DO YOU THINK TED GINN WAS SUPPOSED TO FEEL DURING THE HAPPIEST MOMENT IN HIS LIFE? :err: :tantrum: :boohoo::( :fire: Shame on you, if you booed I consider myself a draft expert and I had Brady Quinn as my 5th best Qb on the board. I think it's ludacris to boo Ginn for being injured or for being a Kick and Punt returner. THE GUY IS ELECTRIC and actually produces on game day. ( he took the first kick return back in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP on the first play from scrimmage just as DEVIN HESTER did in the Superbowl. He made plays all through college and produced on his last play which he scored. As for Brady Quinn OVERATED :tantrum: I had John Beck ranked behind only JAMARCUS RUSSEL AND DREW STANTON based on talent. I think Beck will be better than SHANTON, SMITH, or the Bills EDWARDS. I see CAMS and Muellers scouting and draft executing this offseason as highly successfull.:bighug:job well done.

I RAN out of room.

I see upgrades made at every position this offseason. I am an Optimistic life long die hard Dolfan. But I see our roster like this,

QB: TRENT GREEN- Mentor, Leader, Vet, Winner, I EXPECT a sexy 10-6 Wild Card birth because of his leadership.
CLEO LEMON- GIVE HIM ANOTHER CHANCE, I like what little Ive seen from him. A PROJECT
John BECK- Throws with good velocity, and accuracy from short range out of the back field. He was highly productive in college throwing for more yards at a smaller shool than Brady Quinn. INTELLIGENT WITH HIGHER CHARACTER THAN A CELEB TYPE BRADY QUINN IN MY OPINION. Is 26 year old rookie because he went on a church mission during college. I COMPARE Beck to A DREW BREES OR MARC BULGER. He's our future QB. :)

I agree with you about Marcus McNeill. I suspect that Randy and Cam have a good gut feeling about Ted Ginn's potential as well ... on top of all the exhaustive research I'm sure they did.

The draft guru "experts" were saying that Marcus had a bad back and so forth. If they'd done their homework they'd know that he only had back problems when he was a sophomore at Auburn. I'm sure Randy and Cam have done their medical homework about Ted's foot injury.

Marcus should have gone in the 1st round. The Chargers apparently did their homework and got a steal in the 2nd round. He started the first game of the year as a left tackle ... as a rookie. That's pretty rare. Then he went on to have a good year with LT having a record breaking year. He protected Rivers well obviously. Rivers made it to the Pro Bowl. Marcus also ended up playing in the Pro Bowl as an alternate when another left tackle couldn't go because of an injury.

It seems like half the Chargers team ended up Pro Bowlers last year. I have a feeling that Cam just might send one or two more Dolphins to the Pro Bowl (with Zach and JT) in February. I hope Cam still has that same magic for turning players into Pro Bowlers like he did over in San Diego. We could use one on the Oline I know that. Two would be fantastic.

Definitely know your stuff. However, I believe that the boo's that came when Ginn was selected were not because people don't believe in him, they were aimed at the Cam/Muel because they thought we were making a mistake by passing on Quinn. You gotta remember the hype that was around Quinn on this board, ESPN, etc about us landing him. Either way, Ginn will definitely produce. I love what I see in him so far, as I do in Beck. I've seen Quinn play twice & believe he is a bit overrated. Beck will most likely be the better of the two. And I agree Russell is the cream of the crop. Good post & go fins.

We were all stund with the selection, but from there to booing the coach and the player in there faces?, maybe staying in silent because you couldn't swallow the news, but NOT booing. GO DOLPHINS!!:ninja:

I don't understand how you can give Cameron credit for drafting players in San Diego.

What has Cameron done do earn this much respect exactly? The college teams that he coached were awful. All the drafting in San Diego was done by AJ Smith, not Cameron, so don't try to say that McNeil, Rivers, etc. are on the roster because of him.

And last time I checked, fans can do whatever they want to as far as booing and doubting their franchise. I imagine most fans weren't booing because of who we drafted, but because of who we didn't draft. I'll be the first to admit, I was just as mad as anyone when we made our pick. But I wasn't angry at Ted Ginn, I was upset we didn't get Quinn. I still don't think we made the right decision, but that doesn't mean I'm not a fan.

Cam Camron was far from the brains in the Chargers drafts. Aj Smith their GM is amazing. He knows talent, he was the one that drafted them not Cam, Cam was a OC, not the HC or w/e. He barely had power over the play callls let alone power in saying who they take, so dont act like Cam made the decisions. And you do know Cam's only time as a HC he had one of the worst records with Indiana. Or w/e College he was HC of.
Brady Quinn is not overrated, I think you are just saying that because you didnt get him. Beck is not as good as Quinn, look at the type of teams Quinn played with little talent around him.. Thats why he could only come through against small teams, the good teams simply were better, but Quinn was still a star in those games, breaking a 60 yard run against USC. Quinn had no speed at WR, he had to many possession WRs. I am a huge Notre Dame fan.. Also I am a huge College football fan, Quinn was the best QB in the draft, it was a mistake for the Raiders not to take him. Its a shame that Quinn fell down that far. Dont kid yourself saying Quinn is the 5th best QB in the draft..... Ginn is electric, I will give you that, I dont get why the Phin fans were booing the pick, its understandable, the guy has speed. He is truely a game breaker, I watched tons of Ohio State games, this guy is FAST. But he may never be a #1 WR, because he is only a deep threat, he doesnt run routes, he cant catch over the middle, his hands arent even that good, but you get him the ball he will make plays. He is simply a Playmaker, probaly a #2 WR in his career.
