I know he has some off the field issues and being waived by the colts proves it, but think the kid would be worth a shot with our depth issue? I watched a good amount of his games in college and he makes some plays. Not sure how he has progressed this year though
 
Yeah he's nuts alright but he is also what Miami needs- a big physical corner who can press and reroute wide receivers. I wanted Miami to draft him but what we've learned about our Dolphins is they don't like to take risks.
 
Dude totally checked out his last year at UF though I can't say I blame him. His speed makes him a nice punt team gunner but he won't tackle anybody.

Think Antonio Cromartie after he was traded to the Jets.

That's one of the reasons he went undrafted. Purifoy measured smaller and ran slower at the combine than everyone expected. 5'11" 190lbs and ran the 40 in 4.61.

As for the Dolphins not liking to take risks...maybe you should remind Chris McCain and Damien Williams of that.
 
I'd take a flier on him, why not? He had talent. Possibly better than a slew of practice squaders
