If things break right this week, the Dolphins D could be: Suh, Wake or OV, Mario, Earl, Rey, Misi, Alonso, Maxwell, Pacman, Jones and Iloka.

If this is the best case scenario what would you think? Its clearly better than last year (so is your average 8 year old girls team's D) but would you be happy with it

Cut Earl and put Phillips in the starting lineup!

Thoughts:

Suh -
Wake or OV - I'm guessing neither, but of the two I'd prefer Wake at a lower price than he is likely asking.
Mario -
Earl - Is this Earl Mitchell? Get him off of the team and give those reps to Phillips.
Rey - I'd like us to do better than this, but beggars can't be choosers.
Misi - :puke:
Alonso - Willing to give him a shot. I think he can be special.
Maxwell - "Average" is certainly better than what we have gotten in years past.
Pacman - Gives us flexibility to groom a CB under him. I like it.
Jones -
Iloka - I'd be SHOCKED if we score him. He is fantastic and only 25. Bidding price will be high. I'm guessing this doesn't happen.

Overall assessment: It's quite obvious Beasley just filled any hole with "who is a free agent on Cincy". I'm sure Vance Joseph is a nice guy and all, but money talks. This won't be close to how our final team looks.

If we sign Mario and keep Wake, then I will be happy. Williams/Mitchell/Suh/Wake- I would have no problem building around that. I'm allowing Misi and Alonso to focus on just getting healthy in TC because who knows how long they will last during the season. Jenkins/Alonso/Misi with some of our second year players is just OK, still would like some developmental talent to be brought in. Just wish Grimes could restructure and then I would be happy with a Maxwell/Grimes starting duo and targeting FS in the draft (Karl Joseph?) But if we get Pacman, Maxwell/Pacman/Jones/FS is not too shabby either.

What about who we get at 13? Lawson instead of Wake or OV would be nice.

Cut Mitchell, that guy is gah-bage. And why is Dallas Thomas still on this team smh.

Love me some Illoka. He should be next on the list after Boone, not Pacman. Reshad Jones has tried to play FS & SS for 5 years now BY HIMSELF. Illoka will help solidify the FS position and let Jones focus solely on being a playmaker and in the box safety, what he is best at.

Plus, Beasley has nobody from the draft. Derron Lee would add some speed and punch. A CB in RD1 would add big time depth. Another DE would be needed.

I still am interested in the idea of Elliot if Miller bolts.

Miller is gone Hayden but I don't want a RB at 8. I would go with Ajayi plus a free agent or RB in the middle rounds. If we get another corner after maxwell in free agency then I would live the DE from clemson and Wake and OV are both as good as gone too

Ozzy rules
