Thoughts on RGIII being cleared to practice

Seems a little soon to be rushing him back. What's the hurry? I would probably just have him rehab his knee until around the 3rd game of the preseason. He's their franchise player and should be brought along slowly. I think RG3 is going to have a very short career if he doesn't learn how to slide or go out of bounds.

I thought the same thing with the timing of his recovery especially since this was not his first surgery with knees. However, alot of people were saying the same thing with A. Petersen and he had a career year. Who knows, Griffin may be of similar recuperating powers. I do agree about his career status if he continues to take punishment the way he did last year. The boy has got to learn to take care of himself!!

Agreed. I'm not even sure I would let him play in the preseason. If he comes back too soon and re-injures it in the preseason, not only would he risk his career, all the fans in D.C might riot. I know he will have to get up to game speed again but I don't think it's worth the risk this early in his career.

rushing the great runningback back early is just going to get him hurt sooner.

In his interview yesterday, he said unless the coach tells him to he will not play any preseason games. Smart move. No sense risking another injury before the season starts.
