I put up a thread on our picks from 2009 through 2011, and we have 8 players left from those 3 drafts. I know it's a year early but, thought it would be a good time to see what everyone thoughts of our 2012 draft.

1- Tannehill
2- Martin
3A- Vernon
3B- Egnew
4- Miller
5- Kaddu
6- BJ Conningham
7A- Kheeston Randall
7B- Rishrd Matthews

We had 9 picks, with Martin, Kaddu, Conningham, and Randall are no longer here. Not sure on Egnew.

How would you grade this draft so far, as a whole or, on individual players. Is it good, bad, average, something different?

1- Tannehill A
2- Martin D-
3A- Vernon A
3B- Egnew C
4- Miller B
5- Kaddu D
6- BJ Conningham F
7A- Kheeston Randall C
7B- Rishrd Matthews B

Just my personal opinion. I think it was a decent draft we got great value in Vernon, Matthews and *crosses my fingers* Miller.

1- Tannehill- shown everything you want in a Franchise QB and i believe he definitely will continue to show that and will be just that.
2- Martin- Honestly think that he coulkd have been a decent RT but for obvious reason ended up being a bad pick.
3A- Vernon- Great last season needs to continue and he could be a top DE soon.
3B- Egnew- I think he was too hyped before and could be a Solid TE and if him and Sims can get a good competition for the #2 TE spot he could really show he is worth that 3rd round pick
4- Miller- Hard to measure seeing as he hasnt had a decent OL to run behind as a starter.
5- Kaddu
6- BJ Conningham
7A- Kheeston Randall
7B- Rishrd Matthews- steal of the draft for us. can continue to be a solid #4 and possibly #3 if he continues to progress.

I dont really know anything on the other 3 so i cant really say much on them.

1- Tannehill - a project qb who has developed more than I expected by now. Very pleased - he is the real deal
2- Martin - even before the bullying stuff he sucked
3A- Vernon - developing really well into an impact player
3B- Egnew - bad pick
4- Miller - he is fast, bad hands and cant take contract. Change of pace back best playd behind a clear starter - I suppose its ok in the fourth
5- Kaddu - meh
6- BJ Conningham - never made the team but was well rated at the time and hey its the 6th round
7A- Kheeston Randall - showed some potential
7B- Rishrd Matthews - strong depth option at wr

I think Matthews has proven to be a VG acorn in the 7th round. I like the picks of Tannyhill, OV, and Miller, not liking the Egnew pick.

I believe, to varying degrees, that this is the tell tale year for Tannyhill, OV, and Miller.

33% about Ireland's Average

Vernon has been a very pleasant surprise....I believe he has that hunger to succeed.

It appears likely that OV is going to have to beat out Jordan to start, no easy task. Should be some fun to watch.

We need to find a way to involve both players. They bring two very different skill sets to the table.

Tannehill, Vernon, Matthews....and I still have faith that Egnew can be a role player. So far its turning out to be an average draft. 2 solid starters, 2 solid backups....seems like the going rate for the average NFL draft by team.

Hard to do in a 4-3 with Wake on the other side. Unless we use Jordan some at OLB, one of the two is going to struggle for enough playing time.

Agree but, what about Miller? It could end up to be good.

1- Tannehill; Glad to see a 1st rounder on a QB. Tough kid and shows lots of promise.
2- Martin; Lemon
3A- Vernon: Nice 3rd rd pick up. One good season so far.
3B- Egnew: Work in progress. Showed some skill and toughness last season. possible breakout in 2014.
4- Miller: Should improve and shows great speed.
5- Kaddu: meh, tough and still looking for more play time.
6- BJ Conningham: Not enough time..?
7A- Kheeston Randall:?
7B- Rishrd Matthews: Looks like great value..
