A few points on todays game:

1. Ronnie brown IS GOOD!!!!
2. MMs playcalling is awful, pin the loss, and many other on him.
3. We cant blame the defense, 332 total yards, 13 points, had the offense been more successful, the D would of also done better, the big plays harm us, but still 13 points arent hard to outscore.
4. Lemmon>Harrington, we have to cut him and draft someone.
5. We still continue ignoring Chambers.
6. McMike did well, and Hagan had 2 spectacular catches.
7. The Oline did very well.
8. We are on the right track as long as Mularkey gets shown the door.

I thought mularkeys play calling was particularly good with Lemon in there. He fed Ronnie the ball a good amount tonight, and called three plays in particular that only Lemon could run that i felt were pretty solid. two were both bootlegs. the big one to mcmike and the the short one to mcmike. The short one may not have amounted to much but it gets the defense moving where you want them and making them think. as an offense, thats when you know you have them.

Ronnie had 18 touches, 18. That isnt enough when he is averaging 6+ yards a carry.

It was his first game in almost a month and he his hands probably not even fully healed to be honest.

Remember he didn't technically even start the game...

We all knew we would be able to pound the ball down the Jets throats, which we did, but not nearly enough.

The coaching has to take the brunt of the blame in my opinion for tonights loss.

I've got a few points on tonights game that I think are encouraging.

1. I don't have to hear now that Saban has never had a losing record. Uh, yes..he has.
2. There are alot more Anti-Saban converts after that ineptitude debacle we saw from him tonight. I kept telling people it wasn't personal. He just needs to go away.
3. Alabama seems to really want him. After the press beats him unmercifully (at Christmas, no less), he may really want to leave. That would be awesome.
4. We have 30 FAs. The new coach is well on his way to rebuilding the team as it is. He can trade away a few of the vets...cut 8-10 more players and he can basically change 90% of this team this year. FINALLY...rebuilding the Fins. Geez. I cannot wait.

Saban aint leaving, but if he was, you almighty, who would you want coaching this team?

Chambers is undependable. He dropped a sure pass from JH - it fell through his hands. JH will be back. We simply have QB competition in the QB camps. Saban needs to name the starter before TC, and that QB practices with the first team. Settle on the O line in the QB camps as well. That way the offense has all of TC to practice together. This bit of experimenting as much as he does hurts us and causes the slow starts. Give the rookies and backup enough playing time in TC with !st team players to evaluate them and teach them.
