Over the last few weeks I have posted several threads in the lounge that have been deleted. These threads were not grossly offensive or combative, nor were they off topic or all together stupid(with few possible exceptions).
Now I understand that this site is privatly owned and you guys do a great job. If the administration feels that the thread needs to be removed, so be it. My question is why have I not been notified? If you must delete a thread, why not send a PM to the author to explain exactly why it was deleted? There have been threads that I have posted that have had 50+ replies that have vanished into thin air with no explaination. Hell, I would actually prefer to get warning points and a PM, just so I know WHY the thread was deleted.

Again, I love this site and I think it is superbly run. I would just like an answer for why my threads are deleted, and what was wrong with them.
Thanks in advance

Actually, I just realized I had a 20% warning for circumventing the profanity filter in the thread title, which I can understand. I never actually thought that (lets call it a four letter abriviation for a learning disability) would be considered as circumventing the profanity filter, but I guess I can live with it. What gets me is on the other threads, vanish without a trace or reason.

Question answered. Derogatory words or phrases that describe persons with a bonafide disability, such as the learning-disabled, are not allowed, since with 17,000+ members there're bound to be more than a few with relatives or loved ones with such disabilities, and would be saddened or offended to read them.

As to other threads, I honstly don't know...but this thread should get some other responses from staff.

one of the thread got really offensive and out of line so it got pulled. The other you were warned for it, because while it is a learning disablity the way you used it was in a derogorty term, as non of the people in the actual images you posted showed any signes of ebing clinicly ******ed, the use of term was an insult.

I understand why I was warned, looking back it was a bad lapse of judgement. As for the other thread, I dont know which one you are refering to.
