I know some of you jokers probally get scared when i start thinking but its dirty job and someone around here should ,so here goes.

question #1 are we using any four wide receiver sets? I am asking because my area tv stations refuses to show miami dolphin games because wannstedt was a icon around these parts , why ? i have no clue.

question #2 how do you guys feel about drafting a powerhouse fullback by the name of shawn willis ? this kid is very good and he blocks just like csonka did.

question #3 is tight end Lorenzo Diamond playing any and how is he doing?

question #4 do I need to come down to miami and slap some of you people around for saying that 1 rb is all we need? this trading ricky is nonsense so lets enjoy 2 rbs while we can and remember that even 3 rbs would not be too many , remember the late 90's .
ok that was four questions but math and english classes is where i used to take my naps .

#1) Incredibly rarely do the Phins run 4 WR sets as it takes away one of the best weapons they have in McMicheal.

#2) Barnes is doing very well as the nasty blocking FB at the moment. FB's are not used much in this offense so 'any' draft pick on one would be a waste.

#3) Diamond. Nothing special. I have a feeling the team will keep looking for a viable H-Back type TE in the offseason.

#4) Agreed. It allows the team to run the ball 30 times in a game without wearing Ronnie down.

4 WR sets + Dolpins O-Line = Gus on his keister

1) Exactly.. But we do run a no backfield set every now and then.

2) we need other positions addressed

3) Diamond who?

4) We're going to be the next Holmes/Johnson tandem

How do you figure?? Miami's o-line has given up less sacks than most teams in the league. Actually our o-line has been better than San Diego's this year, hard to believe but it is a fact.

There's more to it than just saying look at the number of sacks. HH has done a fine job of designing pass blocking schemes, which often include keeping in at least one back or a tight end. McMichael has probably pass blocked more this season than in all his previous seasons combined. If we ran very many plays with an empty backfield, we'd see the sack totals skyrocket imo.

Move. Anywhere that thinks of Wanny as higher than a pile of dog**** is not a place to live.

This could possibly be the best advice you'll ever get.

HH schemes most of the time has a TE/ Max protect on the line---with TE in motion depending where he wants the extra lineman...

Its too bad the receivers dont adjust better and run slants off the blitz.

Thats the way to beat a blitzing LB when an offensive team has a 4-wr set. All underneath---for some reason, the raiders still havent figured that out! Also, with a 4-wr set, the line MUST hold 1vs.1 long enough for the plays to develop down field. In other words, the QB must TRUST his O-line at least a 6-7 drop step (if under) or a couple of seconds if in gun.

Another way to counter the 4-wr set are CB blitzes...thats an advantage of having a R.Brown in the backfield, someone that can block.
