18 miles from Memphis...
Frye went 12/14 186 tonight. Orton went 2/4 for 60. That's 4 more yards than Aj had with 17 attempts. :cry: Here's hoping Gus returns to probowl form. If not, then let's hope Frye plays well enough that Cleve. doesn't draft Leinart. :D

Even if they don't we wont have a shot at him. We are going to be in the top 10 i belive but we wont crack the top 5 in next years draft. Look for us to be around 7-10 slot with about 5-7 wins next year.

I think that he would be a good fit for us. He is mobile, very acurate, and can throw the long ball. I'm sure we will be looking long and hard for at him during the college season.

If the teams in the top 5 or top 10 need a QB. How many teams are going to need one?
 
I think we will have a legit shot at Leinart, its going to be SF, Cleveland and us at the bottom give or take a slot or two. SF and Cleveland won't be taking him that leaves us. Don't kid yourself, our team will be picking from 1-7 this upcoming draft.

san fran - no
tennessee - no
chicago - YES
dolphins - yes
washington - no

You said Jacobs is a top 5 or top 10 pick. Let's say we somehow have a good season and pick 15th. Leinart right now is the #1 QB, but it doesn't mean he'll be picked #1. What if the 49ers pick at #1 again? They won't take him. How about Cleveland? They have Frye. Titans? Volek will probably be their starter but they may look to draft a QB. That's what I was trying to say. Just because he should be picked early, doesn't mean he will.

i agree.

san fran got alex smith this year, they aren't drafting another QB. tennessee has volek, who is better than all these rookie QBs anyway. cleveland got frye, who is good and will satisfy their QB wants. Washington has crappy QBs, but they got Campbell this year in the first round. that leaves us. either Leinart or Jacobs will be available.

If he improves on last year he will be a top5 pick. Someone will either trade up.

I know what you mean, I agree and hope that something MIGHT happen like that... Chances are slim that we draft him if we do good this year.

so sure are you? You haven't been watching NFL football very long, then.
There are surprises every season. There will be a couple of teams who are hyped up, that will go in the tank. There will also be 1-2 teams that will be predicted to stink who will come up and surprise.
Happens almost every yr.
