Throwing in the towel.

Not only that, but you know what sucks too is there are plenty of us fans that could manage a game and make in game calls SO MUCH better than Sparano and most of the coaches.
Feel your pain...Many here have been fans for decades and we all suffer thru it together. If only the owner & coaches cared like some of the fans on this board.

Thanks for a ray of future hope

Cya... been a fan for just as long and hope we turn it around.

I hate Sparano and I want him gone. I'd actually like to see this team finish 1-15 to solve what seems to be a lifelong problem with Andrew Luck.

But not watching? Nah, can't do that. This is my team.

If you stop watching the Dolphins now.........I'm sorry, but you are NOT welcomed back if/when we're ever "watchable" in the future.
I will watch again as soon as a new head coach is in place. Time for Ross to step up and make a move.

i dont know guys. i im still not sure its coaching. lookwhat we did with penny at qb. chad has been playing good but we cant score any more in the red zone. you dont think we would be awinning team with a franchise qb. i will never stop watching my phish. thats just a thing i could do. i live for this. but i just cant put all the blame on sparano. i dont love him, but come on there were a lot of plays today that should have been made by players that were not..... im at a loss

I don't think you can refer to this guy as a fair-weather fan. I too have watched this team every game for several years including the 1-15 season. NEVER was it as frustrating as it is now, with the bonehead decisions and just no effort or desire out there. I was ready to call it quits this week but I got sucked back in. Today was even the first day I didn't wear my jersey in about 15 years, but I still managed to watch. But if all that watching these games is getting me is a really bad mood for the entire week why even bother? If the owner doesn't care why should we?

Now we will start winning and finish at 7-9 again ...
Don't see that happening this year.

And why would you throw in the towel now...things are just starting to get good. We're inching closing to Andrew Luck and a new front office and coach. The inevitable will become reality soon enough.

I wish I could walk away. Id be better off for it. Miami football in general is going to soon kill me.

secure andrew luck and get rid of carey and colombo and yeah things are lookin up...god i will lose every game gladly this year if it means andrew luck in the draft...now watch ireland stick and trade down and take a right tackle if we have the top pick

figures

I've been a Dolphins fan since the mid 70's and have decided to throw in the towel for the first time
after all those years. You ask, what am I saying? I will no longer watch another game until this head coach is replaced! Anyone else on board?:titanic:

I've been a fan since 1972. For the last two years, i've essentially quit watching the games. Up until two years ago i never missed a game. Just tired of them looking so freaking pathetic. I might catch a game or two this year, but thats about it. They just plain f'ing suck.

I tried to throw in the towel, but I audibled at the LOS and it turned out that Marshall was well covered. The towel ended up right back in my face.

Exactly how I have been feeling.

It's amazing how you can follow a team for all these years and then finally get frustrated, you are considered a fair weather fan.
