There were two significant injury news items for the Dolphins on Thursday, the most notable involving tight end MarQueis Gray being placed on injured reserve in the morning because of an Achilles injury he sustained in practice.
Wide receiver Jakeem Grant was listed as a full participant for a second consecutive day, but the news involving him was that he was removed from the concussion protocol.

We really are getting lucky with catching the Titans right now. A ton of starters have not played in a preseason game and some important players look pretty banged up (Evans, Landry, and Conklin). Add in a new staff and new offense and defense and this game looks like one we should win. You add in playing in Miami and we know what that 1 pm heat can do to a team...

I hope the plan is to run tempo on offense like we saw all during pre season.

I know it could backfire if we go three and out a bunch but if we can keep that Titan defense on the field alot.. and not allow the big guys to substitute.

They may be a little more used to the heat than a North team but stamina this early in the season...

There was alot of sloppy play from the Fins in pre-season, whether that matters or not, but the starting offense rarley went 3 and out... So there's that...

Yes, tempo works while gaining yards...I feel good about what Tannehill can do and what will happen when Gase open the playbook, but seeing last night game...stuff can get sloppy real quick.

Is Conklin a go? The protection looked sketchy without him

I mean he's practice once since last season. I would be shocked if he does play as it seems like they are just in the testing the body phase.

IF he is out, we should be able to get good front side pressure, just worried about Mariota stepping up and out DTs are nowhere.

in the 3rd pre season games our offense went 3 and out on our first 3 drives and we actually went backwards in one or two of those drives

Tempo offsets our finesse. At least it better

I think we are gonna go really fast and this is the kind of edge team pass rush wise where I would be taking pa chunk shots and relying on my tackles to maintain the edges
