There is a logjam in the AFC this year. Only 4 teams are essentially eliminated from contention: Jets, Jags, Titans and Raiders. Everyone else in the AFC is bunched up right where the Dolphins are right now. A 5th loss, one that comes to an AFC division opponent would be fatal blow to the Dolphins or Bills playoff chances.

IF they lose to the Bills on Thursday, the only real shot they have at the playoffs is winning out from that point to finish 11-5. With several tough games ahead, that's not happening. The season is on the line on Thursday! Time to vanquish the DRAGON! KILL THE BILLS!!!

It's a must win. You lose and you are 5-5 staring at a trip to Denver. This team is too good to be 5-5 or 5-6.

this one is huge. They can't afford it as Bills would have the tie breaker on fins and then fins have the Broncos next. Yeah this is a very important game. I hope coaches learned and have an offensive strategy to attack bills or counter that pass rush.

If the team did not choke away the game today, it would not be. Don't get me wrong, it would be a big loss, but not a death blow. Bottom line, this game should of been won today, no excuses.

I hope its a packed house, the home crowd will be important. MAKE SOME NOISE!

I agree. Season is on the line Thursday.

While it would have been less pressure, I still think getting swept by the Bills would be a death blow regardless of the Lions game. This will be the biggest game of Tannehill's and Philbin's careers.

its the second "playoff game" and were 0-1..KC wn today wild card may take 11 wins..not happening with average qb play

Agree, again. It is all about Buffalo regardless of today. A win today coupled with a Bills win, we'd be talking a possible division championship. Thursday is about winning and advancing.

Playoffs were lost today and vs gb

Well not quite, because these were losses from NFC teams. A loss from a division rival and afc team hurts more. But fins can't afford to lose against bills.

Yeah, if we win Thursday then hope is still alive, but based on what I see from Philbin in close games, I don't think we're ever going to win anything with this garbage at head coach.
