Thursday practice...

I was there for a little of the practice today. Here is some of what I observed...

AJ did not practice today (I don't know why)

Gus was leading the first team and threw a couple of nice TD's and a great throw to McMike( McMike laid out for about a 25 yard catch)

Ricky, man that guy hasn't lost a thing. He was running with the second team today and have several good runs. Lamar was with the first and on the first play ran for at least 20 and may have gone for 6 on a sweep to the right.

Vernon Carey looked preety good at LT(although on a 1 on 1 drill JT gave him an inside swim move and would have killed the QB.

I'll tell you I like the way Nick runs his practices. He is right in the middle of everything. Hudson is very hands on with the OL also.

I could be mistaking, but I am sure I saw Manuel Wright (#95) practicing. I read somewhere he would miss 2 weeks??? Nevermind he is # 75

Also, Vickerson is huge, I sure hope he can play.

If Crowder plays the way he practices, whe have the steal of the draft. That guy is everywhere.

Daniels was still with the first team.

We've had a lot of good news. A lot of stuff we were hazy on has really come to surface...Channing Crowder playing like the 1st rounder he should have been, Vernon Carey panning out, Gordon playing solid, Saban impressing, Houck impressing..

Seriously, it seems as if the sky is the limit for us now
