:fire: :yell:

My tickets arrived today along with the yearly set of rules for tailgating and stadium policies..among other things..

Well, the Stadium Police have outdone themselves this year.. :fire:

Among the new rules..

NO Kegs - if found, they will be confiscated and you will be asked to leave. :fire:
Limit the size of your party- Meaning if everyone cannot fit under your little 8x10 or 10x10 tent, well, thats a NO NO!! :shakeno:
NO generators - guess thew dont want us using blenders anymore to make mixed drinks. :shakeno:

Last but not least....They allow but discourage the bringing of bottled beer. They'd rather you bring cans, but bottles are ok..for now. :yell:

There's more..those of you that got your tickets can go over it...

I just don't get it man? Do they want us to enjoy ourselves or no?

There has been a pissing contest going on for the last 7 years with the new boss of parking and a 2 guys who hold huge tailgate parties over near me in the Orange Parking Lot near East 15. And I'm 122% sure that these new rules are a result of this ongoing feud. All these new rules are directed at things these 2 gentleman do. I'm sure there is going to be a fight in the parking lot over this this season. There was almost one last year.

Next thing you know they wont allows to grill red meat or drink imports!! :shakeno:

Too bad a few bad apples spoil everyone's fun....

Not quite...

There arent any bad apples. The new parking lot boss just has a serious case of Napolean complex. And because there have been some harsh words exchanged and letters written to stadium management, Mr. Napolean has been riding their *** for the last 4 years. They do nothing wrong but throw huge tailgate parties. Never once has there been a fight or any type of incident at their parties. It's ridiculous.

smells like bs to me. as much as we pay for tix we should be allowed to have fun. the parking lot is turning into a state park. you can't have fun anymore at any of the state parks i've been to. that got sheriffs riding around on mopeds checking everybodys cooler for beers. I got kicked out and vowed never again will i step foot into a park.

There is NOTHING wrong with those rules. The parking lot is there TO PARK. Tailgating is something that has come about over years and continues to grow and grow because of technology. You don't need a damn keg, a cooler is fine. You don't need bottles, drink the damn cans for one morning. Also, cans won't shatter and cut tires or people, nor be used as deadly weapons..DUH!! You don't need a damn generator!! PERIOD. You are in a parking lot for a few hours for crying out loud. Many people don't even take a damn generator to go camping!! Limiting party size is common sense, there is no reason for a jamboree in the parking lot where other fans want to park and relax or not partake.

I'm sorry, but the people who like to have a slammin jammin party fest are seriously outweighed by those who just want to have a "good time" and not deal with the circus.

Remove the pole from you *** dude. For as much as we pay for tickets and parking, we should be allowed to have a good time within the confines of the law and as long as we dont disturb anyone else.

The bottled beer thing, who cares. Limiting party size is asinine. NO kegs is also asinine. If they are worried about people using bottles as weapons, then maybe they's want to encourage the use of kegs!!

As far as the generator, I dont care, becuase I never bring one. I have a little DC/AC converter and I bring an extra car battery so I can plug in my TV.

Some of these people throw HUGE parties that work for LARGE companies who pay LOTS of money to attend these games. The Broward County Sheriffs Office throws a huge party about a row over from me with all the above I mentioned. You mean to tell me that they shouldn't be allowed to have as many people as they want there? Or not be able to use a generator to power a few tv's and maybe a blender like they've done in the past?

What's next no grills. Cold-cuts only?

Please..

Until you have actually been to a game..please refrain.

Obviously, there's been some issues......or they wouldn't be imposing the new rules...

I just don't believe your story about "they're just being jerks, blah, blah, blah"

Regardless, you'll have to live with the new rules...until/unless THEY decide to change them....

why are you laughing?

The only rule I see that is an issue is the generator. Bottles are still permitted. I see know issue with a small generator. You are trumpetting to the wrong people, obviously be the pole on the front page very few of these so called fans are season ticket holders.

I'm sure there have been. There are at every stadium or any place where there is alocohol for that matter...you can't deny the fact that these are silly rules. I'm all for making the parking lot a safer place to party and have fun before and after games. These rules are not aimed at that.

I hope i get mine tommorow then YIPEEEEE, did it specifically say generator or did it say electrica generation device. Cause I too have a converter I use it for a blender and to watch Directv. Not so much this year as all of our games are 1pm but not sure what the logic is behind that. Now, We have a large group but we do it under 3-4 tents so its not a big deal. It is a shame that some ruin for the masses but I'll live. I hate kegs anyways too many people mooching free beer off of you !!!!

Until you actually know how many games I have been to, STFU and stop being so irate and irrational about things.

It's very clear from your post you feel you have been "slighted". Well guess what..the parking lot is a PUBLIC PLACE and must partake in actions that are best for teh PUBLIC. Not for a few people who want to get their party on. Just because tickets and parking are $X does not mean you can do whatever you want. If you do not like it, do not attend, it's that simple and that's what they will tell you. It's much like this site, if you don't like the way it is leave. There is no "free speech" here since it is privately run, just like Dolphin Stadium is privately run.

It's hard for you to understand this because your little parties are getting the kabash, but it's clear that the Dolphin organization, stadium workers, and the community don't like the things you mentioned. It makes their lives troublesome and it shouldn't effect your fun to remove it, but in turn will make their job easier. And think, back in the 70's people just went to games and cooked/drank in the parking lot  .. how did they manage???
