Tickets for Sunday

Ill be there with my girl. I bought em before the season, and got nervous this game would have no meaning during our losing skid, but I'm so f***ing amped to still have a good shot at the postseason. We will have NO VOICE after Sunday, GO FINS!!

This is the one problem for the Dolphins when their opponents are cold weather teams that come to Miami late in the year. In Massachusetts, it's supposed to be 35 degrees with rain/snow on Sunday. In Miami, it's supposed to be 86 degrees with isolated t-storms. Who the hell wouldn't want to go to FL when there's a 50 degree difference?

Even if New England sucked, if I was a Pats fan and they were playing in Miami in December I'd go without hesitating for a second.

Yeah that certainly doesn't help. But I went to the Fins-Pats game at JRS in 2002 (it was early October, so it wasn't really overly cold in the northeast yet) and almost my entire section was Pats fans. I even said to my cousin that I felt like we were in Foxboro- us and a few others in our row were the only Fins fans anywhere in the general area. So it doesn't really matter when the game is, there are always a lot of opposing fans in our building, and there will probably continue to be unless and until the Fins start winning consistently again. I've been to Fins-Buffalo and Fins-Jets games down there too, and there were tons of Bills and Jets fans. It's ****ing annoying, but only the Fins can change it, and they can change it by winning more.

Haha same here! I was hoping all season that this game would be meaningful for our first Dolphins home game ever. So freaking excited!!!

dolphans1, is there a reason your giving me thumbs down everywhere? Why would you give me a thumbs down when I said it makes sense for people in Massachusetts to come to Florida in December?

He did it by accident no? I gave you a thumbs up so it counteracted it!:brewskis:

Over the years I've seen Buffalo twice and the Jets once in Miami. There were a decent amount of Bills fans there and the Jets game was on Sunday Night Football so as you can imagine, there was a good amount of fans there. I've also been to games vs. Dallas and Green Bay and BOTH of those franchise's fans travel incredibly well.

I think the Dolphins will always be at a disadvantage b/c of how awesome the weather is where they play. They really would have to go on a 10-15 year run of being a great team like the Patriots have been for everyone in Miami who isn't 100% into them to be on board.

Doubt it. He gave me thumbs down on another one of my comments in a different post that wasn't really worthy of a thumbs down. Maybe he hates me?

I have season tix to the Fins and a Pats fan offering me 500 for my pair. This could literally save me as I'm nearly dead broke and haven't even started Christmas shopping yet. I'm torn! lol

Then why did you buy season tickets? Broke people don't buy season tickets. **** Xmas! Go to the game.

TV is fine for me.

And this is why they stadium is not full and will continue to not be full because we have to many fans just like this.
I lived in Miami and surrounding communities. Most people just rather watch on TV.
Deathstar and others like him are the primary reason, that "BLACK OUTS" work.

This game should be blacked out. Its not sold out. Will not be sold out either. Black it out NFL. Please black it out!

So can we all agree on two things?

1. Yes, fans from other teams come to games. Many northerners retire in south Florida and will be at any game
2 if you live in the area, have the funds, and no big plans Sunday from 1-4 you should go to the game this week. Huge game + loud fans = home field advantage. Besides, I'll be there and I rock. Don't you want to hang out with somebody who rocks?

What people don't understand is we have a boat load of transplants down here. Games against division rivals were always well attended by fans from the other team. That is nothing new and has been that way for decades. And it is OK. It only sucks if we lose these games.

Try Charlotte. Nobody is from here and the team hasn't even been around 20 years. Games here are weird.
