That was a fair analysis. He pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of the Farve/Pennington shuffle, the Jets as a team, and why he thinks the Dolphins have the edge. I don't think Tiki or anyone else is expecting a blowout. This game could go either way, but given the form of the teams, it seems logical to pick the Dolphins.
As for Tiki being an analyst, he's very articulate (UVa generally produces articulate athletes), knowledgable, and has a bit of charisma. I think he'd be a good analyst. Unfortunately, TV tends to take the biggest star players and force them into analyst roles, and while Tiki did have some fame, he's probably a 2nd tier celeb for getting one of those roles. I do think he'd be a good addition to any of the top crews, such as ESPN, NFL Network, Fox, etc.
