Tiki Barber was not the only former Pro Bowl running back to try out for the Dolphins

Hey lets see is Czonka and Kick and Morris would come back? Why not, have you seen Czonka on the outdoor channel that he hosts a show, he is still in great shape.
 
Old people move to Florida. The Dolphins are connecting with their fan base. Tiki, LJ, Farve....come on down to south florida!!
 
Didn't Jerris McPhail run a 4.19 40 under Jimmy Johnson? Sheets and Grigsby can't even do that . . . hell Bush can't run a 4.19. Kick those tires.

What about Sammie Smith, Cesil the diesel - oh thats right he is in jail now. If this new running back turns out to be a bust they will wish they had signed Ricky back.

If you've just drafted a RB with a high draft choicea and just traded for another one....it's unlikely that you're looking at guys like this. I'd disagree with that sentiment. If anything I think the FO is just looking for veteran depth to put behind Thomas. It wouldn't be a good idea to start a rookie RB and have him out there by himself. If they were seriously unhappy with him (impossible this early), they wouldn't just be giving players a workout. I imagine they'd be guns blazing to find a starter.
 
What the hell is a matter with these guys? Ricky has been 100 times more productive than these guys in recent memory. We need a veteran in the group, just bring back Ricky.
