Per PFT..

Well, we've got yet another reason to dump our Disney stock.
According to the New York Post, Sir Tiki is going to work for ABC and ESPN, with a four-year, $10 million contract.
The Post mentions that Barber also is relinquishing $8.3 million over the next two years in football money. He also is potentially responsible to repay the prorated portion of any signing bonus covering 2007 and 2008.
Sir Tiki will work for ABC News on Good Morning America and 20/20, and in a yet-to-be-determined capacity for ESPN.

Tiki seems like an arrogant prick to me

Tiki will be a nobody on TV.

It's fine that he wants to do it, but he won't give anyone a ratings bump!

Lotsa former NFL players become bigger pricks when becoming NFL analysts/announcers: Todd Christensen, Chris Collinsworth, Deion Sanders, Shannon Sharpe, Randy Cross, Boomer Esiason, Joe Theismann, etc.

Dan Marino and Howie Long are about the only two guys I can stomach.

A lot of former athletes have no place in the media.

COUGH

That being said, Tiki deserves a shot, and its his choice.

He has his health, he has his knees. Let him go.

Atleast Sharpe doesn't defend TO, if I hear Irvin or Sanders defending that sob one more time I'm going to explode.

I just read in ESPN Mag that "Tiki is a black man, that appeals to white people."

I guess this is in comparison to Michael Irvin, who appeals to no one?
