DAVIE — In an effort to address their struggles in the secondary, the Dolphins have demoted starting strong safety Travares Tillman.
Yeremiah Bell is expected to make his first career start Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
"It feels great," Bell said Monday, after getting all the snaps with the first team. "I've been waiting for this for a long time. I'm finally in there. I welcome the challenge and I'm ready to go."
Tillman has started 17 straight games dating to last season. While he ranks third on the team with 41 tackles, Tillman has come under increasing scrutiny for his poor ball skills.
