... it depends on whether it's an employers or employees market. And that probably is down to the veteran concerned.

Would the NFL accept a two year deal where the first year was a $10 mill salary and the second year the vet min? The player gets the $5 Mill a year deal, but the team gets charged two cap years of veteran min. I smell loophole.
