ProFootballTalk is reporting that the Dolphins have expressed some interest in free agent Tim Couch.

From what I've seen, this seems like a great idea. Any thoughts?

old news. But what "have you seen" I think it is a horrible idea. The guy is a bum. Got cut by Green bay last year. Not good enough to be their backup? Was he every good?

Sure he can. The Packers were desperate for an heir to Favre but didn't see enough to keep him around as a project last year.
 
Tim Couch People! we are so desperate for a QB that Tim Couch in for a workout is exciting because he MIGHT be better than Feeley. We hate Fiedler so bring in Griese. Hate Griese and Fiedler so bring in Feeley. Feeley is the man, oh he sucks now so Gus is the man. Down with Feeley, bring in Couch. The pattern continues. Of course we would all like a stud QB. The fact is, is that other teams backups are probably not going to cut it.
 
I'd love to see him come in and work out. If he can get a completion to Donald Lee then he deserves a shot, IMO.
 
I think that Couch has had his shot and missed. Looks like we are at a point this year with the QB situation where we need to just stick with what we have because there is not much out there. If the QB situation does not work out wait for next years draft or San Diego to make a move with one of their guys (Brees or Rivers). Wouldmt surprise me to see Aaron Brooks availible either.

been posted and discussed but since you ask i say bring him in what do we have to loose?
 
Well looks like they ran out of room in the benches, so we need an extra piece of furniture for the players to sit on.
 
Why not bring in Ryan Leaf or Akili Smith for a workout? Also, didn't we have Cade Mcnown at one point?
 
The first QB we find that throws 30 TD passes and >17 picks will be the one that nobody will complain about.
 
I saw a clip of crank it up Timmy Couch on the news last night. His delivery and arm were even worse than I remembered, even though I spent years betting against him and laughing at the ridiculous mechanics. Fielder is far superior. Better arm. Better delivery. Better health. Better stats. Just remember that whenever you are contemplating Tim Couch.
