Tim Couch

Im tired of rumors of us getting has beens and retreads. When have 2 already. i say give the guys on the roster the opportunity. Unless... the logic is that they can cut Feeley, save some cap money, sign Couch for cheap.... and spend some money on depth at other positions.

I will only really get excited one they name a QB worthy of truly claiming the starting job.

Let's face it guys, the future QB of the Fiins is not in the NFL yet. The reason we are all scrambling after anyone that gets cut from any other team is because we are spoiled rotten by having the best QB to ever play the game for so many years. Our chances of finding someone even close to Marino are slim to none. Re-treads are not the answer. I say we stick with what we've got, see how the season pans out and address the QB spot iin next years draft.

BTW it was great to see Dan throw one more pass on a Sunday afternoon.

cutting Feeley costs us about $1.1 mil against the cap...doesn't make sense...he won't be cut this year unless....Couch, Davey, or some other current backup is brought in here and sets the world on fire...I doubt that will happen..

Perfect example of a wasted 1st round pick, he's a bum. They said that he couldn't even read a playbook or understand the offense let alone read a defensive scheme & pick up coversge out of college! IMO we need to trade #7, move Rosenfels up the chart & keep Berlin. Although Berlin's had a roller coaster type of career between UM & Fla. He shows the tools to run an offense, even if it is the 3rd team.

I saw a clip of crank it up Timmy Couch on the news last night. His delivery and arm were even worse than I remembered, even though I spent years betting against him and laughing at the ridiculous mechanics. Fielder is far superior. Better arm. Better delivery. Better health. Better stats. Just remember that whenever you are contemplating Tim Couch.

If that were true, he never would have been selected 1st overall in the draft. Were they showing clips after his shoulder injury or throughout his career?

old news. But what "have you seen" I think it is a horrible idea. The guy is a bum. Got cut by Green bay last year. Not good enough to be their backup? Was he every good?

He was injured at the time. His arm wasn't quite right.
I'm not sure what the nature of the injury was, so I don't know if it's something that will hamper him the rest of his career.
If he's fully recovered, I don't see the harm in working him out.

I liked Butch Davis as a Hurricane HC, but he was mediocre as an NFL HC. Is it just a coincidence that nearly all of his top picks never lived up to their draft position?
Maybe Couch needs to be in the right environment. There had to be something about him that made him the top pick in the draft. I nver really followed his career that much, but I do know that he got thrown to the wolves when the Browns were still an expansion team.
