Is Tim Jennings any good ? Wants to play for a good de fr esive line team
I think he's making a pass at Miami.
 
I like Tim Jennings. Had a bit of a down year last season but he could definitely help us out at one of our weaker positions. He is good in run support as well. Dallas might try to scoop him up however
 
who better to have some decent insight on him than Philbin? Same division for a while.
I think as a vet, worth a look, esp with injuries to the team. Dunbar is right, Dallas may scoop him up
 
correct me if im off base, but has Philbin ever signed a vet this late in the preseason that was cut? what...Satele last year? The fist time i seen that Jennings was cut I got pretty excited but then I remember that Philbin likes to commit to the players he has in house for better or for worse

Well, at an average salary of $5,600,000 (last contract) ... he'd also have to be willing to take a substantial pay cut.

Don't think Philbin has that call, it's now on our FO. He may have some input but the buck stops with Hickey and Tannebaum who are the ones actually putting the team together...

i was thinking on the basis of this too... i kind of am very happy where we are at this year coming in, with whom we have on our roster and what they are doing. after all the moves and changes from 2014, how can you not be. i dont think we need to sign anyone that got cut from other teams, especially if it might cost cash or what not. lets see how we do with what we have, let them develop!!!

and satelle was a big need last year, thats why we had to sign him up.

Seconday is a big question mark outside of Grimes and Jones!
 
Can't get over the height.

3 of our top 4 are 5'9 . . . and the 4th guy is currently hurt.

He's also on the wrong side of 30. Last year may be an indication that he's on his downward trend more than anything.

He isnt a running back and I dont think if there was a contract offered it would be a huge multi-year, The team is conserving cap to roll to next year, and i respect that. but i wouldnt have a problem with another solid corner option coming in and giving him 2 M or so for this season alone

I had no problem with not getting a vet high priced vet in FA or drafting one high, Who we have especially the 3rd year players have been battling injuries through-out there time here, I just think there might be something to adding Jennings, just like we added Greg Jennings to the Receiving corp just as a just in case
