Tim Tebow tells friends he’s not surprised, hopes to play in Florida

I'd take Tebow and the entertainment he would bring to a long, long season. This team isn't doing ****.

Bring Tebow to Miami! All he does is win games.

Perfect, now we can win just enough games to screw ourselves over in the draft, and still not be relevant even within our own division. I couldn't imagine a season like that......oh wait.

Only as a TE or H-back and the understanding that he is not being brought here to even compete at QB. I believe this is the only route for Tebow to take to have any kind of longevity in this league. It won't happen because Tebow is too proud a man to accept a move from QB.

Having started the now infamous, "Sigh...Tebow" thread last season i would welcome Tebow here with open arms, but i wouldn't want him to start this year. I would love nothing more than to give him a year or two as the third string QB working with Philbin and Mike to take over the reigns in a year or two. Tebow is not as bad as people make him out to be. You don't throw for 191 yds against the vaunted bears defense in the 4th quarter and over time, 316 against the Steelers and have 6 fourth quarter comebacks while posting the highest 4th quarter QBR in 2012 if you don't have talent. Let Garrard and Moore fight it out for the first and second spot this year and see what Tebow has over the course of the year. Worse case scenario the coaching staff realizes that this kid can't play and we cut him. We are still in a position next season to trade up for top 2 QB next year. I don't see the harm.

Not a Tebow fan but if I were Ross, I do it. Every game at home would sell out. Moore is not that much better than Tebow. One thing I do like about the kid is that he has big balls - he thinks he is supposed to win.

When you think like that, sometimes those thoughts manifest into W's.

He could play for me as a H Back - he is that good a talent, but not under center

If we could convince him to come in and play H-Back I would take that in a heartbeat. That would be a total coup.

But it's not gonna happen.

You see, i don't get this type of thinking. Why bring him in as a half-back? Is the leauge short of guys who play half back or TE? It's completely illogical.

I think JAX makes the most sense. JAX fans will put up a billboard next.

I dont think Tebow fits in the WCO scheme so he wont come here and hopefully Dolphins will be drafting their future QB this year.

However, it s a sad sad truth that TEBOW is a better QB then Moore and Gerrard and would be an upgrade if we had an offense like JAXes offense. Gabbert and Heene are worse then TEBOW too so JAX should be on the phone offering a 7th round pick to get him.

If I were an owner and compared TEBOW to Gabbert or Henne I would tell the GM he is full of it. TEBOW has started his first 17 games and is 9-8 with one playoff win playing on a team with poor offense and never having had a camp as a starter and having no one teaching him how to play QB in the NFL. Thats pretty good for his first two years. Give him two more years to see what can happen. JAX will be better for it.

Pretty sure he got his ass handed to him a couple times too.

That wouldn't make him unigue in the NFL. That happens to everyone at one point or another, especially for young players like Tebow. He created a fire under his franchise last season and got it done despite alot of doubters and haters like yourself. You should respect that fact.

I understand he didn't play flawless football, but to ignore what he did get done on the field as a whole is ignoring the whole picture. Dude wins games, and isn't afraid to put the game on his shoulders when it matters most.

I would take him in a heartbeat, the kid is a winner and his enthusiasm is infectious. Not to mention he is a hell of an athlete!

Jax does make sense, but really anywhere in Florida will be huge. The money and attention Ross will get from bringing in Tebow is what Ross is all about. His jersey sales alone make him a huge profit for the franchise. Ticket sales will explode with Tebow. Not bringing him in is a dumb move from a financial perspective.
