Tim Tebow

its gonna be tebow vs. sanchize in a Jet fan war

He needed to go to a team with an established qb so the fans dont demand Tebow starts, and they use him in specialty situations. The Jets are not that situation. It will be a huge distraction, and at some point they will have to change their entire offense to the Teblow offense when Sanchize fails in a few games in a row

Yes, watching S. Holmes quit on his team was classic. Then it got better. Sexay Rexay was crying because he don't know when he lost his locker room. Then it was followed up with the 'anon' sources back biting each other. And of course hearing from LT giving his assessment of the situation. And last but not least, the extension given to Sanchita. A extension after all the criticism that came from the locker room and fellow peers of Sanchita.

But hey, enjoy Teblow.

I never said we didnt have our issues, take your homer glasses off and realize that the Fins are just as bad, maybe not in the locker room, but your management sucks. I feel bad for Philbin

Hmm lets recap;

Moore played well, but he has been a career backup. Garrad if im not mistaken was out of the league last year, correct me if i am wrong on that one. And your QB situation is better than most teams?

In the here and now, we have a quarterback who was 12th in QB rating. Didn't light the league on fire, but he performed above expectations. I won't put any input on my opinion of Garrard as I haven't seen him throw, but he's been a pro bowl QB in the past when healthy.

Arizona, Seattle, Cleveland, Washington, Minnesota, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Kansas City are a few teams I'd consider worse than us in terms of QB play. I think the Dolphins and Jets are on level footing at this point. I'm not saying we're in the upper half of the league, and better than "most" - but there are other teams with more work to do. That's just my two cents.

haha love how if Tebow came here this board would be more upset and pissed off than usual and saying its such a dumb move, but he goes to the Jets and now we are playing catch up?

yeah, if anything this will make it worse...as soon as sanchez starts ****in up (which he does alot of), the fans are gonna be calling for tebow from the stands...lol @ the circus that's about to start for them.

TE-BOW! TE-BOW ! TE-BOW ! hahahaha!!

You don't trade a 4th and a 6th for someone to run your Wildcat package. This really seems more a publicity stunt than a smart football move.

JDAM ! They had to do something to get on the back page of the NY Post. Mission accomplished Rex. There NFW this going to work. The only and I mean the ONLY up side for the J!E!ST! is that that crowd is a drunken Visigoth horde that will loathe to chant " TE BOW, TE BOW, TE BOW".

Your FO is directly responsbile for the decline and melt down that followed in NY this past year. From the hiring of Rex to the inability to replace olineman and rb's. Trading for a problem child like Holmes is something you all are stuck with.

MIAMI is what it is, in transition. You guys have your 'qb' and yet trade for Tebow. You have a team whose window might have already closed, with the loss of all pro linemen and playmakers on offense. While on DEF slowly getting older and slower.

This is the crowd that was cheering Penny being taken off the field injured. Maybe not as bad as the Philly faithful throwing snowballs at Santa, but not a helluva lot better either. Just wait til Sanchez craps the bed again and they realize that there's hope instead of Brunnell. The chants will ratchet up quickly. Only now they'll be reinforced and encouraged by the addition of The Tebow Traveling Circus and Evangelic Revival. Taco will again be in tears and sulking on the end of the bench.

Bart Scott: "Can't Wait!!"

This is my worse nightmare. I wanted NOTHING to do with Tebow if he wasn't on my squad. This is scary!

Miami is in transition? And im sorry, Rex was a good hiring, he just needs to keep his mouth shut.

Not bad.....not good, but not bad. It's not like Tebow's there to compete for a starting job (see, extension with Sanchez). Expensive wildcat package, but still adds versatility to the offense. Will they be able to coach it and make it work? Doubt it, sadly there will be Tebow fans with "START TEBOW" signs coming out the gate this season. And they WILL get on TV. Worth the circus? No way....

I think Tanny traded for him because he wants to cover his ass when Sanchez fails, it will give him 1 extra year. Head scratching trade.
