Timbo / Chester -- possibly out of shape alot?

I think Chester will be okay, but we need to quit even toying with the idea of Timbo being much of a force.

I'm not sure why no one expects Timbo to be on the field again, either.

The team seems to. What inside information do you have to suggest that Tim Bowens injuries will not allow him to be on the field at some point? None. At this point we've got to go only by what we are told.

DT and chronic back injuries dont mix.

I am thinking we have our eye on some bowling ball that will be cut after June 1st for the interior of the line.

The problem is if you have Carter playing one DT spot you definitely need a two-gapper playing the other spot. See what happened with the Eagles when they played with two one-gap DTs. They got RUN OVER...

We need Chester/Bowens both back.

Run over? I'd hope with two NTs it wasn't up the middle.

IMO, alot of the thinking with Timbo, is just everyone being optimistic. It is good to be optimistic, but that doesn't change the reality that he has a back injury that will more than likely stay with him to some extent.

Kevin Carter is going to be moved to DT by seasons start

Bowens is in cap limbo. He's an expensive cut, so I imagine the team is hoping he'll get the message and just retire...
