This team has many, many holes on it! it's time for a tune-up.

Running backs - Ronnie brown can't seem to stay on the field and only gets good yardage out of the wildcat. he is a free agent at the end of the year on a team with so many holes how can you let a good player walk ? but, do you pay an injury riddled running back ? Ricky Williams is old in running back years his fumbles have cost the dolphins big time, and his very poor hands have too, but who else do you have ? patrick cobbs we miss you! ?

Wide receivers -This team doesn't have a legit #1 reciever bess is average, camarillo and hartline are average as well plus 5 yard punt returns will never help your team get good field position bess cost us at least 20 yards not trying to field a punt today, that has to change or we will keep spining our wheels on punt returns. major need of upgrade

Tight ends - Fasano consistently drops balls and is ineffective. Joey haynos is just what he is a backup we have no one to split the seam and help henne out. major need of upgrade.

Line backers-
Akin ayodelle is to slow in coverage and constantly misses tackles because he tackles to high and the defender slips the tackle he is a huge liability, Channing crowder is average, but look how poor the defense plays when he is out! Reggie torbor whifs on tackles too,and is also a liability in coverage. Joey porter ugh all joey is good for is chasing the quarterback he never seems to show up when we need him and is a liability on run plays a paycheck player who is not earning his money! Jason Taylor at 35 what can he offer next year. Cameron Wake he gets pressure on the qb consistently and I think he will only get better. this unit along with the wide reciver unit needs the most attention in the off-season.
major need of ungrade

Nose Tackle- 35 year old Jason ferguson is coming off a major leg injury, there is a noticeable difference in the run defense when he is not in there. at 35 you cant expect him to be back. Paul Solia is what he is a improved serviceable back-up there is nobody else here who can handle the load so this is a must need in the off-season. major upgrade needed

Safety -
Yeremiah Bell is our leading tackler a safety should never be your leading tackler. bell is solid but seems to struggle against elite tight ends.
Gibril Wilson is a enormous liability, tackling,in coverage, and he just can't catch at all does he even have 1 interception this year ? as far as the back-ups go culver and clemmons I haven't seen enough of them to say, only that culver is a big hitter and clemmons has good speed.
major upgrade needed.

Offenseive Cordinator -
Dan henning there has been so many bone-head calls this guy has made this year. the pat-white stuff, the ricky williams throw on the 5 yard line the conservative calls when the game is on the line. this guy is a liability, theres a reason he is not in carolina anymore.
major upgrade needed

This team has so may holes to fill and not nearly enough draft picks to get it done in one year, and with the whole CBA thing it dosent look good to pick up any good free agents when there are a ton of good ones out there. the dolphins fumbled their second round draft pick this year in Pat White the dolphins have to get the most out of their draft picks to continue to growing into a real playoff team and not the phony one we wished they would be in this years dolphins squad. this team just isn't there. but we still are that same miami dolphins team that hangs our hat on being the only undefeated team in nfl history I for one would like to have my joy in the present and let the 70's be the 70's and start winning a Superbowl im my lifetime. with that said I still love the dolphins and will be watching the draft like a kid on christmas.......Go Dolphins !

I agree with almost everything you said. We're really old at running back, I'd love to see us draft C.J. Spiller if he's available (IMO, one of the top 3 players in the draft).

I would too, CJ has scored a TD in every game he has played this year he reminds me of marshall faulk. you gotta have superstars on offense in this leauge.

Another thing, I don't think he's ever fumbled.

No way MIA passes on UPgrading the LB spot for another RB that likely is not an every down back. MIA's first and second picks will be LBs.

or safety. I would go with LB's though.

I agree we need linebackers and recievers but we should take best player available rather than reach. rolando mclain will be gone when we pick,so then what ?

Ronnie is the man and we obviously suck without him. You people who want to get rid of him are crazy. We need LB, WR, S, and TE. THOSE are the big positions we need to replace some of our current starters with FA and draft pickups. I say Spikes in round 1.

Ronnie is a "good" back but he is not a "great" back. He is not an explosive guy who can take it 80 yards and outrun defenders. That combined with the fact that he is suffering injuries and Ricky is getting too old and we need a major infusion of talented youth at the RB spot.

that's why you can't pass on a big play threat like cj spiller if he is there take him i know we have lots of needs but playmakers are hard to come by

Running backs -Sign Ronnie, Ricky, and Cobbs back. So far the year after a injury for Ronnie has been good (knock on wood). Ricky is perfect when he is backing up Ronnie. Cobbs is a no brainier, lets just hope we do not depend on the wildcat so much.

Wide receivers -#1 WR will do wonders on this team. I really like Greg, Bess, and Hartline as a great supporting cast for a dominate #1 WR. I expect a trade or us to get one from FA.

Tight ends - Fasano had a bad start and i think he is keeper esp. sense he great when it comes to blocking. Again also #1 wr help Fasano to get open more if can get a Wr that needs two on him. But i hope he can learn take a hit and clean up his fumbles.

Line backers-
It too bad that i do not see this position being upgraded because i honestly do not see anyone that we can get in the draft and FA. I do not care what defensive system you are using i fill that mlb is the most important. We use to have such a bad *** defense when Zach was healthy. Channing IS average and would show his best side if he had someone better in front of him and have Crowder come in when he is tried or injured. JT and JP are getting old and it is showing. I do not care how many sacks, tackles, or force fumbles they have. the only way they are good is if they are not every down players. I think we figured that out when tony sat JP down one game and the next game he did very well. Well maybe he was piss... who cares the *** hole gets paid too much to suck and run his mouth.

Nose Tackle-
Paul Solia will be average at best. We need a true starter. Jason is a amazing NT but he is old and makes me sad :(. Although siging him for one more year will be good esp. if we get and good starter and would make a great back up.

Safety -
Yeremiah Bell as our leading tackler shows perfectly how we still need to work on the defensive line and linebackers. Bell is certainly a keeper if we to find ourselves sucking at up in front again. He has really been a lifesaver. Thankfully there are a lot of good DT's and Safeties in the draft. Would not be surprise to see one of our early draft pick put on a DT or a
safety. I think Eric Berry would do great if he is not drafted before us. Oh and i think i will start crying if i see Gibril in a dolphins jersey again. :(.

bell is solid but seems to struggle against elite tight ends.
Our whole team struggled against elite Tight ends. Plus i don't see other teams defeneses completely dominating people like Clark and Welker. ( any1 dealing with giving up Welker should do this to themselves rebelliously.)

Offenseive Cordinator -Dan henning..... PLEASE retire and please stay this time and bring Paul with you.

I have been a dolphins fan all my life. For you older fins fans that lived to see 1971, 1972, 1973, 1982, and 1984 dolphins are so lucky. For all of us to see our dolphins fall short every year has been heartbreaking. And as sad or wrong as most of you may think i have prayed and dreamed of dolphins to go back to being Superbowl contenders once again and winning. Everyone should take some pride to this season to how we have had so many injuries and everything we went though and still have a chance to be 8-8. This team honestly still looks like they are going to be Superbowl contenders once again and where they belong. GO DOLPHINS!!!
