I think if the Fins are going to make a push for the playoffs they are going to need more production from Chambers. Every time I see Chambers it seems like this guy is just going through the motions out there. Last year when Saban made comments about Chambers being an average receiver is when Chambers started to explode! Maybe its time for Saban to make more comments. With Ronnie brown hurt we are going to need more production from Chris if we are going to have a chance against Jacksonville and New England.

If Jacksonville starts the 7th round rookie corner next week i can our receivers having very big days.

This is the time for Chris to break out. We won't be able to run very much so we need to attack through the air. I am calling it for a breakout day for Chambers. Write it down, quote it in your sig, do what you need, but Chris Chambers will have a huge day next Sunday!

I think it could definitly happen especially if he is going up against Jacksonville's rookie corner back but we will need to run the ball so we aren't one dimensional.

Chris only has 497 yards receiving and 44 receoptions.

definetly not worth the 6.5 M cap hit. And they should definetly stop with all the excuses of changing coordinators and qb's because Booker and Wes have adapted better than he has.

Yeah I agree but too an extent. New England was one dimensional against Minnesota but they spread it out every play and just shreaded their secondary. We did the same thing in the first half of our game with them but we abonded it in the second half. I would like to see something similar to that against Jacksonville. We need to get those D-Lineman worn out by stretching the field horizontally and attack their crippled secondary.

Lets not bring this into this thread because there is a whole thread dedicated to discussing that very issue. I'm not going to hijack this thread with that argument so just shoot over here to get my opinion on why those guys are doing better than Chris.

Yeah I'm feeling like more and more of an idiot seeing as though I wouldn't shut up about how big of a breakout season he was going to have this year at my Fantasy Football League draft.

chambers is a one year wonder, actually a one game wonder. I used to love him but then I am just getting sick of defending a guy who doesnt produce.

I think next year Miami should draft a receiver in the first round. Its obvious that Chambers is more hype than he is a primary receiver.

That would be a big mistake. Like I said in an earlier post, if you want to know why, check that other thread.

Your gonna have to come to grips with it eventually Aqua, he has had more opportunities than any other reciever on the team and just hasn't shown up. It almost seems to me at this point as if Saban is giving up on Chambers and just working a gameplan off of the rest of our recievers. Look at Detroit for an example Booker got alot more looks than Chambers and we had the most explosive offense we have had all year. I wouldn't be expecting Chambers to get many looks against the Jags, and I would start preparing yourself for the inevitable which is Chambers being traded in the offseason. It is probably best for the guy, he just can't seem to get motivated to play for the Phins, a change of scenery would probably do wonders for his career.

I also think we should trade him. Maybe for a 2nd rounder. He's not producing. I expected him to have a big day on tgiving but nothing. If he can't step up this week or any time during the rest of the season, he's gotta go.

I hope he has a big game sometime this year, we could really use it, unfortunately I think it's too little too late for his future as a Phin but who knows...stranger things have happened.
