Cleo Lemon is talented, nobody can deny that fact. He is mobile, has arm strengh and is alot more accurate than Frerotte. We haven't given up on the season if we make a QB change. Because we are a team right now that has to relie heavily on the run and on our D. When you relie that much on the run for too long, teams will eventually shut it down. We need to find a QB who is effective and Frerotte is obviously not the guy.

It's impossible for Cleo Lemon to have learned the playbook well enough to play. Plus he's working with the scout team receivers, so it would take him time to build chemistry to with the starters. I say put him in late in the season to get ready for the upcoming competition at the position. For now, I say go with Sage because he knows the plays and players a lot better.
anybody who saw him with San Diego this preseason knows what he can do. Although he wasn't playing the starters, the accuracy of a QB doesn't change just because he is playing back-ups. If you are accurate, it doesn't matter who you playDolphin Don said:

I am starting to get a little bit worried with some of you guys. Cleo Clemens? When was the first time that u heard of this guy? Prolly when he got traded to the Dolphins. It was time for a QB change when Gus and AJ were battling for the starting job. Flat out, Dolphins need to quit experimenting with backup QB's, and we need to go out and get a real starting QB.

Were not going to start Cleo Lemon, i was at the game yesterday and gus's throws look worse in real life, he had so many open recievers and he just kept missing, also ithought his stregnth was decision making? why on every 3rd down do we run a screen? I kno he didnt call the play but there has to be some WRs running out past 2 yards that would give us a better chance at getting the first down. I think Sage should start, i wanted Sage to start last year. I don't think sage is the QB of the future but give him a shot this year to see what he has so we know for next year if we need backup qb and a starter or just a starter
