Time For Ross To Move Miami Or Sell The Team

 Ross just spent millions rebuilding the stadium to get a Super Bowl in Miami, he's not going anywhere, nor is the team.

The article isn't about moving the team, it's about Ross moving TO Miami so he is no longer an absentee owner. I agree with that idea if he is to take his ownership duties seriously.

He treats the team like a toy right now, and the results show on the field.

I happen to agree 100% with this write-up. I don't want Miami moved but Ross does not lead by example and the absentee landlord comment is a perfect analogy.

He is the one constant which isn't good. The time to sell has come.

Article never gets written if the Fins would have won on Monday.

Oh,I missed the "to" in the title. Ross' address is meaningless. He is constantly traveling and I am sure he has a home in Miami. The guy is not a hands on owner anyways, not sure why we would want him meddling with the team on daily basis. Unfortunately we are stuck with him. But yeah it's his toy.

I don't have a huge issue with Ross. He obviously wants to win, i.e. opening his checkbook for Suh, Tannenhill, and to an extent Wheeler, Ellerbe, etc.

He either doesn't get proper football advice from his close advisers or is just ignorant when it comes to hiring a staff.

Do most owners have a hands on role with their team? I don't feel like Ross is alone in how he runs his team, so if anyone has perspective on that I'd be interested to hear it.

He spends money and wants to make the team some spectacle, but since he has become the majority owner, the team has not had one winning season. What a bad job. He trusts the wrong guys and waits too long to make decisions. Philbin should've never been hired, but then he waited too long to fire him. He tried to recruit a coach while another was employed. He is worlds worse than Wayne ever was and he has made the franchise a bottom 10 organization. Sell asap.

I'm confused... do people actually want Ross involved in the Football decisions?

The guy is a checkbook, nothing more.

I think these two things. I mean don't particularly like Ross, but he's not the worst guy in the world. It's not like previous owners were bring wins to us anyways either. Ross CLEARLY wants us to win. And has spent plenty of his own money to help out the team. He's not afraid to make moves and spend money, the problem is, the Horry said, he just has bad advisers or makes bad decisions or something. He may have the wrong posse of football guys and we might be screwed for awhile but who knows. He's too nice of a guy and an optimist probably, seeing the way he has handled all of our coaching searches/changes
