So as I am watching the Pats have the ball for what seems like forever in a TD drive I heard the announcers say that while the offense is out there for a long time the defense will get tired, blah, blah etc. Same thing as the no huddle offense.
Now I wonder doesn't this go both ways? I mean O-line are usually overweight and they never/rarley substitute like our D-line. Our CB are as athletic and in shape as offense WR. So my question is why do announcers mention how tiring it is for the Defense when the Offense isn't taking breaks, are on the field for a long time and the no huddle offense affects them as well.
