***Time Restraints for the Draft***

Based on the recent abuse of the eight hour time restraints the comittee have voted 4 out of 5 to reduce the time to 5 hours for the rest of the first round and three hours for the rest of the draft....

effective as soon as carolina picks or thier time runs out either one.
 
No one can be on at the same time it seems, it's harder than you think to get 32 people online at once. Patience will be needed here. Please be patient for your pick, for this will take two-three weeks for the whole thing to complete.
 
Yes, there's a committee, if needed, we'll choose a pick for one of the teams if they're gone. It includes myself, schisno, PhinSoldia, and two others, I know I'm in it simply because I am helpin take care of the draft and same with schisno and PhinSoldia, plus it doesn't hurt me any that I'm a vet.
 
that's good to know, anyway you can take a look at my parakeet. He doesn't do anything but sit in his cage, tying a noose with his feet.

im sayin...seein as how we've failed to even finish a draft the past 3 years or so we've done this...absolutely no need to hurry this...

I had an idea to speed up the draft. Hopefully I can explain it simply, it may sound a little complicated, but if it works it will definitely speed things up.
It seems hard to tell who is inactive and who is simply taking their time (legitimately or not) making their picks.

1. We create a new thread for every round of the draft. At this point we can start this for round 2 hopefully.

2. IN ORDER the members of the league will post a message claiming their picks for that round. This will tell us who is active and who is not.

3. When that pick comes up, each member will EDIT their orginal post and draft their player.

Any picks not claimed within (24, 48 hours?) will be voided or pre-determined to be drafted by the committee.
All other rules would still apply, but those who are not actively participating won't hold up the draft for 5 or 3 hours while the committee decides they are inactive.

This is just a suggestion, if anyone has any thoughts or problems that I haven't considered, let me know.
 
the owner of the nightcap pick(12 AM) will be allowed till 8 in the morning to make thier pick....because no matter how pressing the time restraints are....asking people to pick 4 or 5 in the morning just isnt fair
