Time to eat crow!!

I'm with you OP. I was a T-Hill believer but that belief died today. Bench him and trade him if we can.
 
Honestly, I know this sucks to say. But I don't wanna start Moore, he's good enough to get us some wins that we shouldn't win, but it's not like he's super bowl caliber. He'd put us out of reach of any potential blue chipper qb that may come out if there's any to be found. I'm sick of .500 quagmire. Just how I feel.
 
just remember tannehill didnt have it in college either. he was a hope and prayer getting drafted 8th overall. lets just hope we do it right this year and get the #1 pick and we draft a real franchise qb. after 15 years of this i think we deserve one!!!
 
Add me to the list. ill still root for him, maybe eventually it will click for him a la rich gannon late in his career. it just wont be with or for us.

I dont think there is a franchise QB available at #1 this year. If a QB is taken at #1, it likely will be a bust like Winston.

We had the chance a few years ago with the #1 pick. We took Jake Long. LT BABY!!!!!!!!!!
 
The last 5 games is very telling. Tannehill is a decent back up. No way this guy is a starting QB next year. If this piss poor play continues he doesn't make it past next week. Again the dolphins got shafted by a regime hiring friends. Phillbin gets the head coaching gig and brings in sherman how vouches tannehill. Setting the dolphins back again. Drafting a qb with a new coaching staff is what fans should be looking forward to next year. WV you the man for calling it like it is. I thought we had found a franchise qb but when you can make simple plays and take sacks. You done son!
 
WV has his moments. He does love to troll everyone with the Moore thing, but he was never wrong with who is a better pro QB. Tannehill only had to be consistent and solid and the team would be in a better place, but he's started the season out super shaky in this new offense.

I really wanted to believe in Tannehill, but have always known that his deficiencies are not things that can be fixed. Accuracy is hard to teach, it's an innate talent. Awareness in the pocket is also a talent that he doesn't seem to grasp. Those two intangibles make up what a QB should be.

I've said this a bunch of times to WV and in general, Moore will never get a fair shake. I don't get it either. He has proven people wrong every time he steps in. He makes a lot of mistakes but he also just goes out there and plays. The team won't really be a threat with Moore in there, but it's a lot more exciting and the team rallies behind him. We have to wait until draft time where we can get a stop-gap QB. This draft class doesn't seem to have franchise type QB's.
 
I was very sceptical when we drafted him, thought it was a reach. I rooted for him and was hopeful but I must say that he just isn't good enough. I hate the idea of trying to find a qb again, but he is not the guy.
 
I'm giving him one more game but I held faith up until this week. One last glimmer of hope for next week.
 
wv mariota isnt a potential franchise qb? he sure looks like one to me, how about the kid from ucla? he looks good too...
 
I give every player drafted at least 3 years. I just don't see any progress, which is what I was looking for. This guy doesn't have it.

I'm happy that WVDolphan came around in the past year.


But I've been more consistent. From the start (04-24-2012), my position has been..

"..Tannehill is a 2nd round talent. Just because a team is desperate, reaches, and takes him in the 1st round, doesn't make him a better QB.."

They both suck. So does Winston.

The only potential NFL QB I see so far that will definitely be in the draft is Connor Cook and Im not sold on him by any means.

This isnt to say there arent other QBs worth taking, I just have not watched them play yet. Ask Slimm, he might know who is good. Although, I think Slimm thinks those 3 busts can be pros, so I may need to check and see if he is suffering from any illnesses.
